damn... you kinda need a bit of EQ on your drums... or with the kick drum, try placing the mic a little further away from the inside of the drum or sound hole, it'll sound less muddy. then tighten you kick up a bit, and maybe if you have enough mics or whatever, an overhead..? it'll reallllly bring out the sound on the cymbals :)
