  • Zaps. Bad judgment. Impulsivity. memory temporal mix-ups. Waking dreams. Sleep paralysis. Weird libido. Risky behaviors. I have not touched that crap in 8 years and I still have zaps, but the other affects have, I think, stopped. I used to get the zaps a hundred times a day every day, for years. Now, I am unlucky if I get one in a day.

And I get nightmares from bad food, caffeine and sucrose.

    Peace.

  • aaaaaawwweeeeeeeeeeeesomeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i thank my higher power for this video. i have been looking for the right person to tell me DONTDOIT..... everybody thinks differently,, but my heart hunch was strong i knew atdprsnts are not the righrt desicion..... love u bro... i ll be following your channel.....Mateo,,,, lets be fiends

  • I was prescribed a very low dose of Paxil several years ago. Took one pill and started completely wigging out. Both visual and audible hallucinations. Random images flashed before me, like someone was turning the channel really fast in my brain, loud screams, voices and other odd sounds. Was having intense and terrifying CEV's, super-complex fractal orbs floating above peoples heads, extreme agitation like I'd never felt before. This nightmare went on for about 12 hours just from one small pill!

  • @screwedworldorder Bull shit

  • I'm going off Seroquel and Desipramine and it's really tough. I've been on Seroquel for 8 years and Desipramine I don't know exactly but a long time. and I recently had shock treatments. I'm taking Vitamin C, B12, Omega 3-6-9, Gingo Biloba, St John's Wort, Magnesium and all those help. I would recommend all these natural supplements to anybody.

  • You say that AD's "calcify" your brain. Is there evidence to substantiate this?

  • We have communicated before. I'm checking in to say I have been off SSRI's over 3 months now. Things definatly got better but the whole experience changed me so much. This last month was pretty detox symptom free and now I'm getting brain zaps again when I go to sleep. It's more annoying then painful or anything but telling my brain is still chemically not back to normal. I'm worried symptoms will always haunt me, the whole experience was so intence.

  • I won't bore you with my story, but I did take AD's for several years, and I can say, unequivocally, that these drugs have fucked me up in the worst way possible. I'm far worse off now then I was before I started taking them. Psychiatrists never warn you about any of these dangers or side effects, because they realize it's in their best interest to keep people drugged, otherwise they'd be out of a job. They are greedy, lazy people with no morals or sense of social responsibility.

  • I also have taken SSRIs that of Seroxat 20mg for almost 5 years now. I recenlty cut off seroxat by 1mg each 14 days and i took 2-3 capsules of omega 3 1000 mg and some other natural relaxands. I eat row foods and foods that contain natural serotonin like bananas. i lost weight since i started cutting off paxil-seroxat and now my weight is stable. I hope that 2012 will be much better for me. Thx a lot

  • I eat good; whole food vegan with plenty of raw fruits and veggies, but being around certain people depresses me. I don't think depression is only the result of diet. The people/attitudes you surround yourself can definitely have a positive or negative influence on your mental state.

  • Thanks for sharing your story and i wish you the best.I'm on effexor xr for the past 12years,and been tapering off for a year now and i'm at 14mg a day.

Like you said, these drugs are pure hell when withdrawing and will mess with your head.

I will take your advice of the diet, seems the logical way, doesn't it,:p

  • @xmezzo1 do you feel as if these drugs have changed your personality, cognitive ability or emotions after being on drugs for the past 12 years?

  • @dannyboidj1 I think it put some stages of emotional developement in a sort of coma;and eventually changes the personality by force.

Anyway,i'm on my 1st day of effexor now,if it gets bad i'll just smoke a joint, helped me more then all meds together.Best wishes:)

  • SSRIs are poison. Makes me sick just thinking about taking them.

I've lost a sister and brother to SSRIs - unfortunately I don't know them anymore.

  • I know how you feel. I lost a brother to this shit. He has become a heartless humanoid whom I no longer recognise. Personally, I think that rat poison is preferable. At least it will kill you outright.

  • Do you still feel yourself getting better or has it plateaued?

  • I only took them about 8 or 9 months and worry my brain will never recover. Off everything onerous a month now and while I feel better it's still not the same. I wish I had never dabbled, I think I was better off before the whole experience.

  • @TheLlbies you need orthomolecular healing! trust me it will work, your brain is completely out of whack right now, picture doing mdma for 9 months straight, that can be related to ssri's just give your mind time to heal, there have been ppl taking these drugs all their lives and still make full recoveries

  • @dannyboidj1 however, how do you feel that your brain is damaged? are you still able to function normally, please explain this either inbox me or comment back because i may be in the same situation as you. thanks

  • @TheLlbies how do u feel that these drugs have permanently damagef your brain what drugs were u taking and at what doses?

  • what is a raw food diet?

  • You seem like a very humble and smart guy, thank you for opening up and sharing a tough story like that.

  • Oops.. Sorry coming off was the worst thing I ever experienced. I'm so glad I have now. I'm feeling warm and fuzzy feelings I have been missing fit a long time.

  • I too am taking time off of work. There is no way I could work during this adjustment period. I can really relate to everything you said so thanks again. I was on zoloft and effexor so coming of

  • @TheLlbies how long were you taking thesse drugs for? i have taken them for 8 years not high doses though and am worried that my brain will not recover.

  • @dannyboidj1 ...i think he said he was on them for 10 years. I've been on paxil for roughly the same amount of time and it was scary to hear what he describes the medication doing to our brain. I almost cried watching this.

  • @oxforddictonary well how exactly do you feel mentally is your personality still intact

  • @dannyboidj1 it's tough to say. A lot of my depression also stems from environmental factors. I'm still unhappy in life, but that's because of my family-situation and my inability to escape it right now. Paxil keeps me functional I suppose, but it doesn't ease my depression exactly. It just helps to push through and go about my day-to-day. I still suffer from depression though and sleep excessively. Again, my circumstances keep me very unhappy. I need to break free and take control is all

  • Been there. Cold turkey too. Thanks for your video. I have been off about a month now and things are getting better. They got worse and worse for the first couple of weeks. After a month, still not a clear mind though. I'm defiantly going to incorporate more raw foods into my diet. That makes perfect sense.

  • SSRI drugs work great for some; And and devastating for others.

Those are the facts (as we know them right now)

  • I have taken Sertralin, klomipramin and Paroxiflex.

Now i dident take the Paroxiflex i throw them in the Trash

Good friends/family will help you but not this drugs they give you just more problem

  • I was prescribed Paroxetine 20mg tablets last Monday due to anxiety and I knew absolutely nothing about the reality of this stuff.

  • Do you still have the zap feeling?

  • @huffharry very rarely. Only after staying up really late and not getting enough sleep. Eating a ton of bananas helps a lot ... natural brain food.

  • thank you , i feel you there

i will show this video to my aunt

  • I'm desperate actually, I'm 21 . I can not do anything because of hyperhidrosis. I already have a diet because of my liver. I just wanna be alright and be a normal person. I also took natural-based meds for relaxing and so, nothing helps me. Doctors say I'll be over this, considering my age, but I don't think so. It gets worse .

  • SEROXAT or paxil killed my life >:(

i hope how made it go to hell

  • Jesus Christ is the Creator. John 1:3 :)

  • I'm going to pray for you. Thanks for all the information my friend. God listens; keep praying!

  • Ur voice makes me sleepy in a good way.

U have the same tone of ancient yogis and gurus.

  • im sorry dude not try and sound rude but from what i gather your just pulling facts out of your ass. 1- zoloft (an ssri) causes people to have MORE vivid dreams not less. 2- happy doesn't JUST come from what you eat, in MY opinion happiness is different for everybody and can be found in my different ways. i only watched till 2:30 and stoped the vid because In my opinion your talking shit!. P.s do some reserch on the brains functions before you go pull info from wikipedia.

  • I was prescribed this by my doctor for my anxiety attack, I haven't taken it yet, but hey if this drug is going to mess me up can cause me to go zombie like and give me suicide thoughts, screw it. My anxiety is not even that bad, why take something that will make you worse. screw it.

  • this is exactly what paxil did to me same situation too lost girl freinds feeling bad id done extacy a few times and figured ssris work on seretonin like extacy wow was i wrong it sent me Bonkers i hate what these pharma giants did to me im feeling so much better since not taking anything but excersize and vitamins like magnesium omega 3,6,9 allways serch for an alternative to these medications

  • I've experienced some of these symptoms with paxil minus the suicidal thoughts, so after taking it for a few months, i went off the drug cold turkey like yourself. The withdrawl was pretty horrible, it felt like having the worst flu I've ever had in my life. However, I disagree that all SSRIs are the same, prozac has saved my life. I'm emotionally stable, my anxiety is gone, and I'm a much more productive person. The only side effect I seem to experience is sleepiness, which isn't too bad.

  • @Hiltongroupie how long have u been on these drugs for? do u find that they have altered your mind in anyway?

  • Lots of us have been duped by these drug pushers that mind altering drugs are safe. They are NOT safe. They are DAMAGING. Its 2011 and i cant believe psychiatrists havnt been rounded up and imprisoned for crimes against humanity. These psychiatrists destroy lives and run and hide like cowards. I'm sure the FBI knows about them but they dont do anything to arrest them. What a dangerous world we live in.

  • SSRI's and ANY psychiatric drug are EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. Many young people's lives have been ruined by psychiatrists. If you are young and have some emotional difficulties eat pure raw whole foods as you will get the most potent nutrients your cells need to repair damage done by psychiatric drugs. IF you take a psychiatric drug for a long time and at high doses it is almost impossible to get off. DO NOT take the chance with psychiatric drugs, once you are on it is a LIVING HELL to get off.

  • Warning: Those who have taken SSRi's and other toxic psychiatric drugs when young and grown with it into adulthood, do NOT get off them. If you come off them you will get psychiatric symptoms you never had before. You will suffer in agony and it will not stop. Those who are adults and know the effects of the drugs and know how to regulate their mood are fine to remove the drug but those who took these toxins at a young age don't take the chance of getting off. It will make you WORSE. WARNING!

  • More people should hear your story. Consider writing about it. I was on Seronil (Prozac) and beznodiazepines for four months. Had severe suicidal thoughts, did some self-harm. Now I'm trying to find my way in life, I'm vegetarian (and have been for over 10 years) but I'm thinking of transition to veganism. We'll see. Thank you for this video.

  • @znikacz hey i was just wondering how do u feel mentally after being off these drugs like can someone tell me if there is any brain damage in the cells from taking these drugs?

  • @dannyboidj1 Well, I don't observe any damage to my brain, my memory is fine, my creativity is fine. The only thing I discovered is that I tend to get deeper reactions both for pain as well as pleasure. Like I can get euphoric after 5 minutes walk in the forest. But that I think is a result of all my previous experiences: drugs, meditation, rebirthing, yoga, etc.

  • im starting to take paroxetine.....

  • YOU NEED TO TAKE 2000 MILIGRAMS OF MAGNISIUM CITRATE, FISH OIL, VIT B3 NIACIN AND B COMPLEX BY (AOR). THIS WILL CURE DEPRESSION, OCD AND PANIC! ONE OTHER THING... GLUTEN!!! STAY AWAY FROM IT!!! WHEAT CAUSES MENTAL ILLNESS IN SO MANY PEOPLE BUT THEY DO NOT KNOW IT!!

  • and no do not just go cold turkey,, you could murder or kill someone. taper off is very very very slowely under a doctor's supervission

  • well sounds like i have a nice lawsuit against the drug companies dosen't it? and i need some money too, dont all of you that are fucked over by this shit?? thanks for posting this, i've had it.

  • Thanks for making this video, I'm coming off a few medications, and sometimes I just flip out - like today. Finding videos like this help to relax and think more positively.

What kind of raw foods do you eat

  • @spacemanjase I'm glad I could help. I found the #liferegenerator channel over a year ago and went raw. Basically, lots of fruit in the morning, smoothie for lunch, and huge salads for dinner. No alcohol, meat, dairy or eggs. Lots of sunshine - at least 30 minutes a day for natural vitamin D3. I sometimes eat a Watermelon a day and get lots of exercise in. The vit D3 and watermelon really help lift my mood. Search google for 80-10-10 diet or the liferegenerator more info.

  • @mtbikemikeg Man running to the toilet twelve times a day to shit out watery turds would piss me off. Vegan food does that and I have shit myself more than once while lifting something heavy because of that sorts of food. I approve of the diet, but not the shiiting of my pants part of it.

  • Yes, Lexapro gave me brain zaps also..... extremely frightening. I have permanent damage from the Lexapro and my life is awful. I now have panic attacks most days and they are horrible. thank you for your video.

  • @wdtony how do you know if your brain is permanently brain damaged are you still able to function in everyday life please tell me this wont happen to me to all ssris do this?

  • I thought i knew english..

whats a raw food diet? raw fish and pigeons?

  • I was on Cipralex years ago, I feel like it fucked up my brain.

But thanks, I'll be going on a diet to boost my health up.

Thanks for the hope! Means alot

  • i must say brain zaps are not panic attacks, they feel very diferent.i was on cipralex for 6 weeks for severe depression, agoraphobia and panic disorder, which i eventually threw the meds in the trash due to horrible side effects such as cluster headaches zaps, muscle pain, twitches, weight loss, gagging, balance problems, and oh yes WORSE depression and anxiety...

so now im house bound and suicidal...DO NOT TAKE SSRIs period......

  • When I think about it my body would be depressed I am constantly up & down with rapid mood swings. My diet is poor- copious amounts of alcohol, past drug abuse I think I will try the CBT mathod...thanks for all the info

  • When I think about it my body would be depressed I am constantly up & down with rapid mood swings. My diet is poor- copious amounts of alcohol, past drug abuse I think I will try the CBT mathod...thanks for all the varied infomation

  • I didnt take Paxil but I took Celexa. Only four pills and they where enough. I stopped them but it was already too late they have taken over my bain. Now I have no emotions emotions at all. My life is destroyed

  • @TheChembalin Did you stop them suddenly?

  • @SuperDelta000 Yes . I thought that if I stop them after taking only 4 pills that they wont cause any problems but I was wrong. My emotions never returned to how they where before the drug. I made my problem even worse when I took one Anafranil pill after my reaction which finished me off inducing complete anhedonia. I have no emotions and feeling now. Positive or negative. I lost my libido and the abillity to feel joy or any emotions. Even anxiety is gone, I miss it. Emptyness and brain fog

  • @TheChembalin Why did you take celexa in the first place and how old were you when you took it, and how long has it been since you been off it, and are you taking any drug at this time?. I seen your channel and listened to your story. My story is exactly like yours but involves MANY drugs and for a long time.

  • @SuperDelta000 I took it at the end of march. They advised me to see a doctor because I was very sad and worryed a lot about my work. I took it for 4 in 20 mg and stopped it because it was making me feel like a zombie. I though that I will return to normal after I stop it but I never did. I had uncontrollable stress and pannic attacks comming from nowhere and partial anhedonia, changing through the day. I went to another doctor after that fr these simptoms and he prescribed me anafranil

  • @SuperDelta000 I did the same stupid mistake secon time. I took the anafranil and went into a worst state of mind. The pannic attacks and feeling of stress was gone along with all the little traces of emotions and now I am completely numb. I have no emotions or feeling. Sometime I feel sad but its almost undetectable sadness. One tear drops from my right eye and thats it. I didnt believe that taking this for short time can harm me in such way but I was wrong. I think the withdrawel got me

  • @SuperDelta000 @SuperDelta000 I red also cases of other people who got permanent alterations just from 5 or 10 pills. It seems there are cases where the drug can harm even when used for short time

  • @TheChembalin absolutely. are you taking anything right now?

  • @SuperDelta000 Hopefully Im not taking anything. Ill never toutch any drugs again after this nightmare. I was tempted at first to try an adderal like wellbutrin or ritallin just to remond myself of the person I was before. But I saw that eventhough they work on dopamine they are no different from cocaine or meth and cause the same condition which I have now. I will just humiliate myself more if I put myself on any of these poisons again. Ill never do such stupidity again no matter how bad I feel

  • @SuperDelta000 What I have learned is that drugs no matter in what form damage the brain. In the past cocaine and heroin where legal and prescribed, now they are replaced by other brain damaging drugs and many of them even more dangerous. Immagine if 4 pills of this poison did this to my boddie how dangerous it is. After I get some money Ill put myself on a raw diet with hope that my brain and boddy heals and my emotions will come back one day

  • @TheChembalin a few things i can advise you is too take a detoxifying and superfood called chlorella and see how it helps you. it should make you feel bettter.

  • @SuperDelta000 Thank you so much :) Once my boddie is detoxified I know the healing of the cells will take place . Thank you :)

  • My Los Angeles Department of Mental Health psychiatrist is a drug pusher instead of cognitive-behavioral therapy. She does not actively listen, allow interruptions proving she is a cognizant complete moron. My ex-wife becuase of them became addicted to "meds." Many in the USA similar to the Los Angeles Department of Mental Health are drug pushers. We need nonprofit private organization that resort to drugs as the last resort.

  • @airforcemax Try CCHR in the Los Angeles area. They will direct you to the right path.

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH.

I take 20mg a day and the tablet weighs .30 grams.

Tomorrow I start with .26grams for a month to see.

    Message me any more advice.

    Thank you

    Ray

  • @Squaresisation No, let me see you prove that there are chemical problems in the brain, i've heard psychiatrists can't even do it.

  • hey folks, I've been a born again believer in Jesus since i was around 6 or 7, im 44 now, Jesus has been with me through everything, and of course there were and still are very unpleasant times, Mike, Jesus is your creator, invite him now into your heart, pray in your own words,............get a king james bible and get spiritually fed :)

  • Please type in Ban Paxil using google search engine and sign the petition if you believe that Paxil is a bad drug

  • @jessicaelainek We may need to ban psychiatry, we have a psychology and psychiatry epidemic in usa and worldwide, when we were all kids, 7 years old etc. did some freak in school come up to us and say, 'Hey you're ADHD'? you need pills....No way, this shit didn't even exist then and it shouldn't exist now, it's destroying lives, our country, i think psychiatry should be exposed, go to - cchr_org and cchrint_com they will send you a free DVD and they expose psychiatry,........

  • Im starting on "Venlafaxine" soon. I have S.A.D. I hope it helps.

  • my psychiatrist prescribed me paxil today for depression and social anxiety but i'm a little afraid to take it after doing some research and seeing vids like this

the funny thing is that i originally went to her to get adderall for my adhd and left with a prescription for paxil after she convinced me i also had depression and social anxiety

  • @M45terMiNd it's all spiritual, don't take that shit unless you want to get addicted to it, all you need is Jesus, i'm no expert but im convinced all those pills are dangerous

  • i went throgh that .just found out that my panic zaps were caused by paxil im off zoloft for 4 days

  • it's exercise more then diet. exercise has been used for a long time to treat depression. (allso theres class action lawsuits going on right now against Paxil, sue the bastards!)

  • @joker777x Paxil destroyed my life, do you know how i can get in touch with the right attorney?

  • it's exercise more then diet. exercise has been used for a long time to treat depression.

  • @joker777x any particular kinds of exercise you recommend?

  • I did not experience as much sedation or side effects with Klonipin as I did with the others. I will now take one or two Klonipin’s on days where I have extreme anxiety or trouble sleeping. My mother has been taking Paxil for over 17 years, which really concerned me. She started a taper and should be off the medication very soon. Im glad to hear that you are off the medication. Support groups are also productive in treating depression. It helps to talk to others with similar issues.

  • Well, I finally went to a doctor that actually listened to me. I told him that many studies have found SSRI’s to not be much more effective than placebo in the treatment of anxiety. I told him that I would like to try a benzodiazepine to take PRN. He asked me if I had a particular medication in mind. I told him that I wanted to give a few of them I try. He first wrote me a prescription for Xanax. After that, I tried Ativan, then Klonipin. I found Klonipin to be the best for me.

  • . I tried several different SSRI’s while in undergrad. When I got into pharmacy school and started learning and researching SSRI’s I was not surprised to find that many studies have found SSRI’s to not be efficacious in the treatment of generalized anxiety disorder or Depression. In my personal opinion I do not believe that the benefits outweigh the risks. Not to mention, we are just now seeing some of the long term effects of these medications.

  • I tried to explain to him that I do not like taking medications especially SSRI’s. I had every side effect that is common with SSRI’s and I just did not feel like myself while taking them. I was in my freshman year of College when I started taking SSRI’s. I was majoring in Chemistry and planned to either enroll in Pharmacy or Medical school after receiving my Bachelors. I found that I really enjoyed learning about medications and decided to go to pharmacy school.

  • I did as much research as I could to find a medication that would help with my symptoms but, more importantly, something that I would not have to take on a daily basis. I found that many people with anxiety disorders found benzodiazepines effective. However, Benzodiazepines are a schedule four narcotic in my state. Many doctors are hesitant to prescribe these types of medications because they are controlled and carry a small risk of mental dependency.

  • . @mtbikemikeg Mike, let me say that I can completely relate to some of what you are going through. I have taken, Zoloft, Celexa, Paxil, and Lexapro. I mainly suffer from anxiety but not chronically. I just have days where I am extremly anxious. On these days, I cant function well mentally or physically. Every time I went to the Dr. and explained my situation they would prescribe me an SSRI even after I tell them I am currently on an SSRI or I have tried them in the past without success

  • Im on paxil because of my horrible anxiety. When i was at a friends house for 2 days i forgot it so i had some anxiety withdrawl symptoms but didnt know thats what it was. I decided to get off the medication the way my best friend did. He immeadietly stopped taking it and started taking St. Johns Wort. MAN WITHDRAWL made me depressed and angry at the world, i had zaps and wanted to punch a whole in the wall. Im a personal trainer and understand DIET IS HUGE! I want to try to taper off it! HELP?

  • damn man i was on paxil for 10 years i quit in 08 it took 2 years to get better for me i just straight up quit takin them it was horrible but i made it and congradulations to others that did it to i know it was like hell everything felt like it was goin 2 happen to u but it got better and you cherish life more that u quit paxil and this vid is true .peace

  • PAXIL, WELLBUTRIN KILLS. IT KILLED MY BROTHER DON'T TAKE IT!!

  • PAXIL, WELLBUTRIN KILLS. IT KILLED MY BROTHER DONT TAKE IT!!

  • I'm glad you found relief with the raw diet. I went to my doctor about digestive issues and anxiety/depression (HUGE connection there, but she didn't see it that way).. After the first visit, she prescribed Paxil without even discussing the possible side effects or withdrawal symptoms. Researched it, and decided that this isn't something I want to get into.. Went to a naturopath instead and am getting much better care there. I just wish doctors would recognize the huge role that diet plays..

  • @bluesoda025 yep, diet is huge. I'm now of the belief that the typical human these days is into the quick fix -- like painting over a rusty spot on the bottom of a boat. It's hard work to transition to optimum health. But the payoff is truly amazing!

  • @bluesoda025 Yeshua shai, which means 'Jesus the gift' in hebrew, I think a lot of doctors know the whole truth, they are just evil, like the big Pharmacies, and want to keep people ill, else they'd be out of business, I believe when Jesus healed people they stayed healed, but such is not the case with evil man, they want you only partially treated, so you have to keep coming back to them for more -the love of money is the root of all evil-the bible, and some so called doctors are just idiots

  • Ten years for me too! Tapered too fast. Original symptoms all diet related. Four and a half years post-poison, I am still starting over again from total devastation. Hope you are well and thank you for posting :)

    Peace

  • The more I learn about this, the madder I'm getting. I just dumped a bottle of Paxil down the toilet after only 2 days on it, because I was freaking out and having these body tremors, hallucination-like dreams and daydreams, and just waves and waves of panic. I almost went to the ER 'cos I thought I was going mad.

My counselor had recommended me get on the stuff after only one session, and the doc prescribed it without a second thought. Neither one told me any of this could happen. WTF.

  • How do you get off the stuff??

  • @Scrumpilump2000 cut the pills in halves and taper very slowly. sign up for the free forums on paxilprogress . org. Tons of survivors on there that can help you.

  • @Scrumpilump2000 the longer you've been on it the harder it is, you can get a pill cutter and shave small amounts off over a period of time and see how it goes, but do it very slowly, or use a knife, as soon as you encounter any problems, stop and go back to the amount you were taking before any problems came along, it helps if you have Jesus in your heart, because he is always there with you helping you, by faith you can pray and invite Jesus to come into your heart................

  • @Scrumpilump2000 try these sites point of return.com & natural news.com both suggest healthy food and good supplements...I just went raw and take in allot of cystine which makes glutathione I just went cold turkey, highly NOT recommended on day7 and lots of brain body zaps, but no melt downs yet...please reply if you want to chat or have ideas or treatments that helped you...3 years on 5 drugs...never felt right. anyone seeing this who wants to add something or just talk I'm around :) good video

  • @Bunneeluvr hi

  • @Bunneeluvr did you notice a personality change, are you ok how after being drug free, i am worried that during my developmental period from 13-21 these drugs might cause damage during puberty am i paranoid for nothing?

  • Thanks for this video, my Dr's gave me some of those pills recently after going through a traumatic last few months, but I have not touched them at all I don't want to take them

  • my doctor is pushing SSRI's on me right now.... after watching this, and reading all of these comments, I vow not to touch that shit.. good luck!

  • I almost died on paxil. I quit cold turkey because i felt it wasn't working. The zaps and brain fog were the most painful and depressing things I've ever been thru. I almost killed myself from the pain of the withdrawal. I can't beleive this medication is even legal. The pharmaceutical companies are killing our society. Thanks for the suggestions about the raw food. You're right about the not eating well and poor health. I promised myself I'd start eating better as of now. Thanks so much Mike!

  • Great video Mike! Your calm and reassuring demeanor is encouraging. I was prescribed paxil and took it for only 6 weeks, going from 10mg to 20 mg. After discovering these You Tube videos on Paxil, I stopped taking paxil and became angry at the doctor for pushing it. It seems that doctors can only validate themselves by prescribing pills. What a shame, right? I was fortunate, in that I believe my only cold turkey withdrawal symptoms are vivid nightly dreams and the need/ability sleep long

  • paxil withdrawal is hell...and I have benzo withdrawal in the past as well. Paxil was so bad it never helped.

If you really want something that help....take an MAOI , NOTHING absolutely nothing worked for me probably because Ssris, snris etc created a further imbalance. MAOIS seemed very balanced and the HT danger is so over rated .

  • oh man I took that poison for 10 years as well. It was horrible. The withdrawal from that crap almost killed me. It took more than a year to withdraw. I also got ets because of facial sweating and blushing. The messed up thing is that paxil was the reason i was sweating so much. 10 years of my life was ruined. I am 33 now and trying to deal with a decade of my life wasted. Ets is a whole other story. I feel like we have suffered almost the same shit. Stay strong.

  • @loadmaster5000 Wow ... ETS and Paxil ... we have suffered the same. I seriously thought I was alone and unique with this scarring. It's good to know you and others are out there and suffer the same. It might be wise and healthy for us to form a support group.

The upsetting thing is that I've found that diet had caused all the base line issues. I have found my sweating (and possibly blushing) was caused by an incorrect diet -possibly an allergy to unnatural sweeteners including white sugar.

  • @loadmaster5000 i feel you i feel you i feel you, everyone! man, 18 years + have been ruined in my life, and i'm still on klonopin, lithium, and zoloft, hoping by the grace of God to get off them, i wedged a paxil i took for years out of my life cold turkey and i paid dearly for it, and am still paying, it tensed up my jaw and neck muscles so when i talk it's a major strain and it hurts, don't know if it could be tmj or what, i did go off paxil cold turkey, because it was killing me, i couldnt t

  • I also wanted to say I wholeheartedly agree with you about diet. Contrary to what the doctors will try to make us believe, we do not NEED these meds. Everything we need to live a balanced life can come from diet and exercise and other alternative means.

I think you were right when you said that this likely happened for a reason. As difficult as withdrawal is, I can now see all the positives that have and will come out of this experience. Take care!

  • @BitterSweetL1 "Whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger" ... this paxil ordeal must have made us into superheros ... LOL. Also, a low fat raw vegan diet has launched me to a level of health and peace I never expected out of life. I highly recommend reading the 80-10-10 diet. Transitioning to LFRV is a walk in the park compared to paxil withdrawl.

  • Thank you for making this video and getting the word out. I'm 6 months off of Paxil, which I stupidly took for 13 years of my life (put on at age 19). I agreed about the part that maybe it seemed to help for the first few months, but after that, it was just wentincreasingly downhill. Drove my mental and physical health into the ground. Paxil withdrawal is hell on earth, and I nearly succeeded at committing suicide during that timeframe. I am still healing from this nightmare.

  • I remember those zaps, not a hundred a day, mind you, but I had my hell with Ritalin, the sit down and behave drug that prepares you to go and get a job when you get out of school. You can't move because you sat down and behaved so much that it's all you can do. YAH, i BABBLE.

  • I loved the part where God helped u get through that night!

  • Thank you.
