when you first have the bassoon your lke om my god this is impossible. then its hard to switch fingerings. but then its really easy. its easy in a short amount of time. and it is nothing like oboe. trust me. i played oboe before i now play bassoon. oboe is a higher sounding instrument and bassoon is way lower
