  • The video has a moral to it: When you see something beautiful like that, just enjoy and admire it. Don`t try to change its workings. Don`t try to control it. Otherwise, it will hide its beauty from you.

  • They just mentioned this clip on Richard Bacons BBC radio5 live show. It is truly wonderful.

  • @bonnie43uk Yeah, Richard Bacon's show brought me here too. Fantastic to look at - can't imagine how captivating it would be to see it live...

  • @mclaugb We had this starling effect over our house in Swindon last year, it wasn't as spectacular, but amazing nonetheless, .. and it happened night after night for about a month.

Richard Bacon live on the internet is great, i love watching the show, he is an excellent interviewer, gets to the heart of the matter, and hs some great guests!

  • @bonnie43uk Only caught Richard Bacon's show as I happened to be off work today, but used to listen to him a lot when he was on at 10pm. Am also going to check out the Ed Byrne v Piers Morgan clip he recommended... ;-)

  • I never get tired of watching nature at its best.

  • thankyou - am so grateful to you for posting this

  • Indeed that was awesome! Wow what Beauty and Grace in movement.

  • The crazy thing is i wanna know..is it one bird that turns and the others all pick up and follow suit?? or is it just intuition that they allll turn at the same time. Its crazy to watch. Humans think they are so smart and yet EVERYTIME the animal world outdoes us.

  • Funny thing is that we actually don't know how they do this. I once read that research proven that it wasn't one bird that was the leader.

I'll try and find articles about it because it's an interesting question.

  • i'm speechless. it's just amazing

  • This is nature in its purest form. There is no thought behind these birds, their existance is just to.. Exist. Man takes from nature what he enjoys, and recreates it for others to see. We have seen so much beauty in art and recreation of nature, that we forget the one thing. The one thing that has been endowed in our minds is that there has to be a reason for every creation. But not for this, this is the heart of the reason. Existance.

  • This is magical.

  • Sublime

  • starlings are amazing birds indeed.

  • that is just amazing

would like to see it in the open!!

  • I kept telling my mates that the birds on the Carling advert were real and not computer generated, now i have proof! I remember watching this on TV and thinking, 'I have to see that before i die!'

  • Thank you so much..I've wanted to see this again so much..so beautiful and so relaxing..
