Well they did that to an account called thealexjoneschannel upon further investigation it turned out that the blame was placed on a newspaper article he showed on a video, youtube claimed that the newspaper had filed the complaint, this turned out to be a lie.
They reinstated the channel upon receiving complaints and with threat of legal action.
I say dig for evidence and trace the source of complaint.
Actually a religion IS a cult by definition. Religions of any kind are utter nonsense and ignoring this fact will only encourage Scientology to align themselves with any other religion, which is after all your main objection (as far as I can tell).
