Ah. Not sure if anyone mentioned this, but watch closely in the window scenes where you observe what is going on outside, sometimes nude men pass by (in a censored fashion of course lol). It really is just random and makes me just cry with laughter. lololol.

I just realised. There's 15 handprints on the wall outside. And each time someone dies in this game, another appears. (so 21 in total, but obviously Eileen and Henry survive so ... only 19) How did I not realise that!

Okay, let's take a look at the situation here:

no communications, the door is chained (from the inside), the windows are sealed and this poor guy has no means of getting any help from the outside world. Even scarier, there's a message saying 'don't go out'.

Apparenly whoever sealed this guy in is trying to protect him from whatever it is out there...the question is what is he being protected from?

ill admit i had to sell this when i got it for ps2 because if i play a game too long it runs over n over in my mind when i go to sleep having this game run over and over in my mind was too much but years later when i had matured alittle i gave it another play this time on xbox and bingo i was cured no trying to sleep at night and i got through it pretty ok . (no other game has ever made me unable to sleep at night) not even the other silent hill games

Yeah there are some pretty stupid and none making sense-ish moments and the enemies can be a bitch and can drag out but if you can get over that its pretty creepy , so basically if you can ignore some of the storyline and stuff and focus on the atmosphere its real scary , in my opinion :D

ok so let me get this straight..... one day u have a nightmare then you try to leave your house to get some beer or something, turns out you cant even get out of your own house let alone you cant even fucken scream or call for help..a hole out of nowere appers in your bathroom and thats your only means of escape...sounds like a average day to me...well im Badvoodoo and im going to leave commets thro out the silent hill 4 cutscenes it did not sell as good as the last 3 but still a ok game!

I've never played silent hill series (except for SH2 but i was too young to remember the whole meanin of the game until i got older and actually read what it was about) but the Room seems creepier then all the rest of the series from what i read and saw in videos =) wish i could get it

Anyways what i dont like about walter is his voice acting XD he is confused and somewhat scared you can tell but his voice sounds like "stoned out of it" tone ya know?

I think the windows are unbreakable. If you go up to one and press the A button (I think) he'll bang on them with no luck. The forces that sealed up his apartment were very thourough.
