Obama demeaned the office of the presidency going on this sales pitch for Chicago's corrupt profiteering. Everybody knows what this was about: Corruption and patronage on a grander scale than ever before. That was the opportunity Mayor Daley and everybody saw and they sent Obama off to secure it. If you'll take 5 minutes to do your homework, you'll see that unemployment has been steadily rising since January of 2007. Democrats took majority of the house and senate in Nov of 2006 and unemployment was 4.4%. Democrats created unemployment and a tanking economy to get Obama elected. Democrats need the poor in order to push their agenda and they'll do whatever they can to keep them poor. Without the poor, universal healthcare would be nothing more than a pipe dream. Unemployment is now 10%.
