  • Great start to the video except the cameraman must have been a sledder as he kept shooting a vacant slope instead of following the sledders below. The comments must also be from sledders as their English as well as thier typing shows the intelligence involved.

  • redneck avy blast

  • this is to all you jackass' that think sledders are retards you have just as much of a chance dieing driving to work as you have seeing or even being in an avy......ive been sleddin for years and have never seen an avylanche and i dont go outta my way to stay away from a hill that may slide you guys are babies fuck people like you that think that are mis informed

  • "Freakin' retard".. haha.

  • God MOST of you sledneck are DUMB!!!!

Learn WTF you are doing out there jackass!

....and i ride a sled thank you

  • @Ducatiboy73 A little GT doesnt count as a sled. These ones have a little more juice then the ones you ride flatlander.

  • @mountainrider83 She's a hopped up 800 thank you. Flatlander? I climb mountains, not sled up them. Have fun, don't be dumb. stay safe.

  • my goal in life is to outrun an avalanche on a snowboard.....yea i know its crazy but you havent lived till uve almost died

  • lol priceless reaction statement!!!

  • I sled and you wont catch me climbing something stupid like that!!

  • what an idiot, like all sledders

  • @spuzzum888 and your gay

  • son of a fucking bitch

  • wow luck was on his side that day holy crap!!!!!!!

  • Maybe not if he is OK

  • Did you call mountain rescue at this piont in order to save the person's life?

  • hahahahaha

    *Little kid* "frickin retards..."

  • 20 people didn't enter their text here

  • Look people, we aren't idiot's, I've experienced an avalanche before trying to take the minimum risked lines but keep in your mind, it can alway's happen

  • convex roll! textbook avy

  • Why did he ride down it??? He could have just stayed at the top...

  • @gitbox87 It's a lot steeper than it looks. As soon as he turned the sled around he had no choice but to continue down. He probably had the track locked up and sliding saying, "FUUUUUUUUUUUU....!" The whole way down.

  • To IveGotTheNuts...sounds like you were there? Just wondering what aspect and elevation you dug your pit and what you saw in it? Wasn't stable cause it slid but all those lines would tell you otherwise...just curious.

  • Actually noone dug a pit. We used the CAnadian Avalanche forecast to decide to ride or not that day. It was low risk that day. Secondly digging a pit will only show you what layers may slide. Digging a pit does not insure a slide will not occur. Do you remember when Craig Kelly died. Well three of Canadas best Avy techs died in that slide as well. Actually it was a level two trainig day and 13 avy techs including Canadas best tech also died in a slide. Craig kelly was a fool also NOT

  • Look man we sled and Kayakers ride grade 5 rapids way more dangerous than this. Big wave surfers can die on every wave but I dont hear people calling them FOOLS. People free solo 5.12 with no ROPES Dean Potter ring a bell. People base jump from cliffs with thermal airs pushing air down on them. And yes I am also a climber Kayaker and Base jumper. Does that me me a fool. Im 35 and still alive and LOVING life. Actually im going to climb Bugaboo spire this summer solo. So what.

  • nothing against pushing it...just wondered what kinda score any compression tests were getting as a comparison to the weight of the sled. The CAA is a good tool but nothing wrong with poking around too. Good luck on the spire.

  • look at that convex roll at the top = "fricking retards" is a just descriptor.

  • You're crazy... this is exactly the kind of dangerous thing that kill about 80 to 100 people every year in my country... never do free ride on north sides... even though it's nicer... the sun melts the snow at the top and you just need to crack it a bit and... you're gone... he was f*ckin' lucky... and I bet he was dumb enough to do it again just afterwards... crazy fuckers...

  • do you have snowmobiles in portugal?

  • Ha ha ha...Actually there is a few ones, imported of course, over the north. I was impressed a few years ago when I saw snow in this country. I'm actually from Switzerland...sorry... maybe what I said before has more sense now that you know from where I'm from... ha ha ha...

  • Um for one that s a south face slop . Our North slopes are in the Dark. Sun never hits are north Slopes. If you notice their was plenty of lines up and no slide. Obviously was fairly stabe or the first GUY up would of let it rip. And when this happened we were in melt freeze spring conditions. Avy danger was low so why wouldnt we be going sledding . THey all had peeps probes shovels. Let us ride and if we die No loss to you so dont worry about it or US. Were sledders and thats what we do

  • No avalanche expert here, but how long was it from the time you dug your pit and the occurrence of the avalanche? What tests did you (or whoever) conduct in it? I'm just wondering how these kind of mistakes happen. Were those tracks made from just that day or several previous days earlier?

Oh and for all you people calling them crazy, way more people die of car accidents, overdoses, suicides, and diseases each year than avys. I'm not saying that this was the most conservative group either.

  • I said no one dug a pit. Look at my post I never stated anyone dug a pit . Besides digging a pit will only you what surface layers are going to slide it may be maybe some depth hoar, surface hoar or grauple. Now digging a rutschblock test or perhaps a shovel shear test may get you more definitive results. But needless to say even with all those tests nothing is a guarantee. Usually heli ski guides perform a ski cut to test a slope stability. Previous lines was a close anology

  • @AlpineFiesta

Digging a pit is pretty much useless for sledders. It will tell you exactly what the snow is like on that slope, but on the other side of the mtn could be entirely different. What about the next bowl, or even the next range over? We're capable of covering way too much ground to make snowpits reliable. You just have to watch what the weather has been doing in the whole area, and use your judgment and common sense to stay alive.

  • Too bad you couldn't keep the camera steady and pointing at the most important bit of this video. If you're going to video something like this then DON'T MESS IT UP!

  • Coming on youtube looking for some professional quality home videos is a bit fucking stupid don't you think. Go pay for avalanche documentaries if this doesn't fit your bill you cheap, whiny bitch.Or simply sit back and enjoy cause it's free.

  • how the hell do you expect him to keep a camera steady when someone he may know just created a avalaunch then turned around to into it??

  • How the Fuck is this dude snowboarding UP the mountain ?

  • It's a snow scooter, isn't it...? It physically impossible for a snowboarder or a skier to go uphill like that... ^^

  • ......

  • Fail

  • hahahahahhaha

  • @greeceissocool

you a so stupid get off youtube you retard

  • stupid fuckers who endanger everybodys life by being 'cool' and go off the marked pists. fucking idiots!

  • I think that guy did it on purpose

  • wow wholy fuck that guy can hillclimb

  • who's everyone swearing at?

is it the skier who triggered the avalanche?

  • whatever happend to the skier and the avalache

  • I have spent my whole life in the mountains...all my winters at least. To cut a loaded fall line with anything that heavy/with violent movement from the track is how you would start a slide if you were trying to..snowpacks can get relatively safe at some points, but that is generally long after new snows. Long story short...the people that take sleds across alpine fall lines like this are stupid beyond comprehension.

  • Comment removed

  • People are complaining about the sledders behavior because clearly they weren't taking all necessary precautions. For example, having the other sledders wait directly below the slide path instead of in a safe location. Yes there are certain risks to any backcountry activity but they can be mitigated to a certain degree.

  • why is he a retard?? he is doing something he loves and there are risks and i'm sure he understands that!! let the guy have fun and be free doing what he loves!! if you people don't have to be caught in an avalanche get the fuck off the mmountain, and go knit me a sweater that will keep me warm when i'm ripping up the pow!!

  • Sledding is a lifestyle in the mountains and there are certain risks involved, if you do not like the risks, do not do it. I have sledded the mountains for 10 years now and am yet to find a sport that is more fun with more beautiful destinations.

It isn't a tragedy if you die doing something you love

  • @mearsbrandyn Have you ever stopped to dig a pit? do you have any avy training? Did you know the conditions that day or for the previous week? I know we can't stop these things, but that one could have been prevented.

    cheers

  • the whole goddamn thing when eyy? haha i love canadians

  • Wow they really do talk like that! Sounds like Palin, lol.

  • hahaha these canucks do! not from the city eh.

  • hahaha great comment

  • THx im sure the guy going up that wasnt expecting that to happen. There was plenty of lines with no slide. I love sledding and anytime things can change FAST on a mountain. Enjoy life as much as possible. Take risks have fun fell FEAR embrace the snow. I bet this guy woke up the next day feeling pretty good. WHEW take that FREE LESSON Go surfing at Jaws, base jump Troll Wall in Norway, Ice climb Polar Circus in Banff Alberta, Whitewater Kayak the Rio Futaleufu in Chili GOT IT

  • You never see an avalanche start hillclimbing untill you turn out or start sidehilling. Well on a turbo sled atleast and pulling a chute at 70 mph.

  • Comment removed

  • very nice

  • yeah, you can choose how you die. how about choosing it for others? there were definately other people at the toe of the slide debris field. did they choose? and how about the people left behind you? just cause you suicide on a mountain does not mean your friends are going to feel survivor guilt, your parents, siblings? you dont live in a vacuum. what you do and how you do it will have an impact on others.

  • Uneducated people. You assume that this guy was not aware of what could happen. Did he have peeps yes did he have a probe shovel YES> Did his friends have peeps probes shovels yes. So what is uneducated about this,. Go tell a surfer that he shouldnt go ou cause theres a storm. Maybe he will drown. Who says surfers are stupid yet many DROWN EVERYYEAR> Quit worry about what people love to do. Go save a grizzly FUCK WAD> ANd leave us to chose our entertainment. Risk is what makes it fun.

  • You Stupid Fuck!! No one cares if you die!!!

If You Have The Nuts, before you go sledding in the mountains leave a note with the people who risks thier lives getting your useless ass out of a snowdrift, stating you don't need any help if you dont return. We sure the fuck wont miss you.

  • Dude no matter how safe you play in the MOUNTAINS be it climbing. skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing YOU CAN STILL DIE> Go ask Craig Kelly. He died in a class four avalanche with three other certified mountain GUIDES> Actually the best avalanche tech in Canada also died with Craig Kelly in that tragic slide that killed 6 people and buried 8. We snowmobile SO WHAT > If we die how does that affect you. Quit worrying about death CAUSE WE ALL DIE SON> Some just rather be on a slope

  • Quit being so selfish. Maybe you you don't care if you die, but what about all the people that care or love you in your life? I have known people who have died in slides, and it sucks that you can never see them again. Attitudes like yours in the back country are what gets people killed.

  • did he make it out?

  • yes he made you can see it in video but dunno if guys under mountain are still alive

  • SHIT....YOUR FUCKED! that shit looks scary as hell. 5 star!

  • They guy takin the video is about a 1km away your moron!!!!!

  • I know that guy!!

  • wind loading strikes again

  • How bout you put down the camera and go make sure he's ok!!! There is very little time if he fell off his sled coming through the mist!!!

  • if u use your eyes, i might discover many onther on snowmobiles at the bottom of the hill. My guess they used their eyes.

  • protect yourself ,THEN OTHERS!!!

  • Every sledder is not "an idiot". Quit with the rude remarks. I am a sledder too, and ppl should not comment about how stupid this was. Yes, he made a bad choice and was lucky. The young man you died in an avalanche in this same spot a week later was not so lucky. My heart goes out to his family and friends. And please do not post on here if you know nothing about these ppl or sledding or avalanches. This year has been very unforgiving if you do choose the wrong terraine. Have fun, but ride safe!

  • WOW! Truely speachless, that is one lucky MoFo

  • Comment removed

  • Look surfers do way crazier shit than this. Whos telling a surfer not to go out in big waves. Look all extreme sports bring risks. That is why they are called extreme. This guy saw plenty of lines going up . He thought it was stable. He thought wrong. SO WHAT even if he died at least he would died doing what he loved PERIOD> I sled and I climb. I also have been known to do some stupid lines on BIG DUMP DAYS but hey we all do dont we.

  • If you die in an avalanche and you have no friends or family, then by all means take whatever risks you wish to take. I won't lose any sleep over the death of a noise polluting snowmobiler.

  • @dangerbowers1969 your an ignorant son of a bitch

  • it may be fair comment that I have little concern for the well-being of a snowmobiler in an otherwise peaceful backcountry area used by folks choosing self-propelled recreation, but "ignorant" doesn't fit and I don't think you know my mom.

  • learn to share!!

how many skiers are KILLED each year in slides??good luck to you dangerbowers as i hope you dont die in a slide and if im in the area i sure will do my best to save you

  • your a fucking tool.

  • you are a fucking piece of shit!!!

    god remembers!!a-hole like you

  • sure, whatever. Newsflash, there is no God, merely a creation story for certain humans. (sorry to shatter any deeply held beliefs)

  • you are an idiot

  • and you my firey friend just keep doling out the biting character critiques of a 12 year old (which for all I know may in fact be your age)

  • hey dipshit you belive fish created the earth i think your mentally insane

  • maybe you should use you brains

  • No God? Prove it.

  • @Cookey77

Prove there is one. ;) And I'm only asking you to prove 1, YOUR god, but if I wanted to be really mean I could ask you to prove that there are really all of the gods ever thought to be real.

  • @dangerbowers1969

no doubt eh? the hubble space telescope has proved more than the bible.

  • @dangerbowers1969 Yeah im not religious but i highly doubt your newsflash changed any minds.

  • @jlljts i completely agree. i am a sledder as well, a 15 year old girl in fact. anybody who chooses to sled there knows the risks, its just a matter of being smart enough not to go where its dangerous. this is my true passion and i will continue to do it for as long as i can!

  • Comment removed

  • not the same face... know for a fact. The face the kid died on was an adjacent mountain half a mile away.

  • sorry, i just meant the same area...

  • Comment removed

  • Were you there? Dont say stupid stuff that add no meaning to this thread. As you can see...he got bucked off at the bottom but the sled was still rightside up.

  • clownshoe.....lol He didnt ride it out, the sled was spit out the bottom doing kartwheels he's near the rocks where he lost it.

  • Comment removed

  • wareis thet hill im gunna ryde it

  • So I wuz wachin dis vidyoh and I thawt that sleddin lewks reel cewl so I went to the sled shopp and poot my creddit card down to by a reel nyce masheen. wen they aske me to sine my nayme onn the paypers i sed i cannt spell so gud but he sed thets allrite nun of r custumers kan.

  • lol....what..?

  • Crazy i was on the same hill the day before this

  • who cares if the dude looked at a caa report. have any of these guys ever heard of spacial variabilility?don't rely on someone else, do your own stability tests! these clowns should not be on gt snowracers, let alone anything with an engine.and nauyag is right, hang fire can occur anytime after an avalnche. if you took even a basic intro to avalanches, you'd know the first stage of any avy rescue is safety of the rescuers from high fire.

  • Well, yesterday someone wasn't so lucky on the same slope.

I just hope it wasn't someone that I know, but someone will be mourning his death.

The death, which brings to 19 the number of snowmobilers killed in avalanches this season, comes less than a week after the Canadian Avalanche Centre posted a video on YouTube showing another snowmobiler barely escaping an avalanche on the same hill, near the Clemina Creek area."

  • nice vid that was pretty fucking crazy

  • you guys really don't know what the blip you are talking about! Gotta agree with the person below, youtube makes y'all morons feel like you're experts, but you're really and truly retarded. Go out and ecucate yorselves will ya! Learn something before you share your retarded opinions with the rest of us!

  • sounds like this time someone wasnt quite so lucky according to the info-ex

    This has got to stop

  • why is there always arguing in youtube??

  • People dont necessarily know what they are arguing about. I was at Clemina on a different hill that day, it was fine, I've climbed this hill lots too, and it was fine. Maybe some of these guys need to come out, and ask for a double up the "bunnyhill" then they will know why we do it.

  • Hindsight is always 20/20 and opinions are like belly buttons; everyone has one. So, take your self-righteous rhetoric and your hopes and dreams to fruition. Be a follower and stay away from the edge. Make judgements about others without knowledge. I'd like to see you give your opinion to the families of those who have died in these situations. I'm sure they'd beat you to death. It's obvious you know nothing of the sport so your insight means the same... nothing.

  • Comment removed

  • masoncgy, what kind of a person are you to make statements like that. Like many other winter sports, there's an element of risk involved. It doesn't make us selfish or stupid. And, the fact you've mastered "spell check" doesn't make you more educated.

  • I'm just a normal, everyday person like everyone else. Naturally, there is a certain element of risk involved in any venture, but we evaluate those risks to determine what is safe & what is not. That is why the only skiiers & snowboarders that perish are the idiots that go out of bounds. It's marked out of bounds because the risk is too great. Pretty simple stuff here. Forget the 'spell check" BS... has nothing to do being 'educated' at all. Common sense goes a long way, you know.

  • What astounds me the most, besides the obvious lack of education on the part of the 'supporters' here, is the utter selfishness of the moronic sledders. You have wives, children, parents who love & depend on you and you don't care if you perish... you leave them to grieve and fend for themselves. It's pathetic. You don't care anyone but yourselves. However, be advised that most of us don't even bat an eye when you idiots perish.. it's just natural selection.. nature weeds out the stupid ones.

  • Comment removed

  • No, you're fortunate that I speak in the way that I do, hopefully it'll knock some sense into those tiny little brains you folk seem to be equipped with (doubtful). The fact that you are willing to go back and do it again is totally a statement about your character, and coincides with what I've already said. You're selfish and care about no one but yourself. Go tell your family/friends to fuck off and that they don't matter, because that's exactly what you say! Can't make it any clearer for you.

  • Dont be so quick to judge, cause who knows what situation you could incounter in your life! And yes this could have had a tragic ending, thankfully he was okay! And just so you know, this man is extremly smart, so one bad decision in someones life doesnt make them STUPID, luckily it makes them wiser!! Im sure throughtout your life you have made a bad decision here and their! Take a step back and think of the value of a life, you have no right to place judgement!!

  • Point is, it wasn't a bad decision, but it sure was a stupid decision in the first place. Just because no one died (this time) doesn't mean the absolute stupidity of the action is lessened, especially when numerous examples of what can/will happen have already been provided. Why would even think to tell me to 'think abou the value of life' when you and your ilk clearly do not. Next time the snow comes down, you folks are on your own. I for one, am not interested in digging your asses out!

  • Comment removed

  • Your passion can be snowmobiles but it doesn't mean you have to be an idiot, accidents happen and bad decisions are made but it is all the people defending this bad decision that makes this all so pathetic.

  • Of course. However, it should be apparent from my responses that I do not selfishly and/or irresponsibly put my life at risk. I have a family, goals & dreams like anyone else, and I plan to see them all come to fruition. That's the difference... you pursue a cheap thrill at the risk of ending your life and putting your family & friends through hell as a result.... I do not... big difference between us. Honestly, do you believe there would be such an uproar if you/they were acting responsibly?

  • Damn lucky no one was killed. Bet everyone at the bottom learned a lesson, park somewhere safe! Personally I wouldn't have thought the avy danger would still be so high this late in the season, but goes to show a slide can come down anytime.

Those guys may as well give up on the 6-49, they just used up all their luck for a while I think. : )

  • this is clemina creek in valemount i have been there many times and it is a great place to ride but they should have never been climbing that hill in those conditions

and notice how it started when he sliced to the side never do that especially when the snow is loose always turn right around and go back down

  • I find it hilarious all the negative comments on here.

Have any of you actually been to the mountains? Or are you just tired of watching gay porn? and decided to look up something totally awesome, like sledding.

  • Comment removed

  • Thats great that your all sitting there judging these guys, you go there and dig a pit? check the conditions? you know these guys avalanche training? maybe they're idiots and maybe shit just happened when conditions looked decent

  • South face in warm conditions with recent storm snow in late afternoon sun? Looks super tight for highmarking. Probably low risk!

  • finally a breed of morons more stupid than snowboarders!! numbskulls!!!

  • Slednecks at work again. After over 2 dozen fatalities this year and endless warnings this season people are still riding loaded slopes like that. That is blatent disrepect for the mountains and your fellow riders.

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • The same slope can slide twice, also slopes that people have never seen can also slide.

The sledder was lucky to survive. Risk management among sledders is very poor. I have yet to see a sledder dig a pit to check on snow stability or do any test besides hoping it doesn't slide on them.

I've rescued many sledders from the McBride and Valemount areas, I've also had to deal with avalanche fatalities.

Sledding is fun but not fun enough to die for.

  • to some peopel it isnt. but for some people it is well worth it. like riding a motorbiek is well worth my risk of dieing.

  • dude i cant get over your spelling head back to the mother country would you

  • Wow,nice spelling "Polak Biker".You are so EXTREEEEME.

  • I was part of this group. I was below the hill waiting for him to make his climb. We are seasoned sledders that made a bad call on this hill. The major mistake made was from the previous rider which highmarked and then sidehilled to get a little extra height. If you look at the two passes just below the fracture point it mirrors the two highmarks just below. When highmarking it is best to go straight up the hill and straight down. Sidehilling split the integrity of the hill.

  • This is armchair quarterbacking and just generalizations:

    1. It's not a great idea to hang out under someone cutting above you. Hang out to the side

    2. It's not a good idea to go up a slope that's had a lot of sun late in the day late in the season. Those tend to be weak slopes.

3, If a slope is weak, generally its not a good idea to go straight up its gut. You don't have many options to run if something goes wrong.

  • Continued -

Glad no-one died there. All of you got lucky. Sounds like some have learned from this and some haven't.

Too bad, but its a free world and your life to live. Maybe just try to not kill anyone else while doing it hmm?

  • OMG. "sidehilling split the integrity of the hill"???? No. That's not how it works. Really.

It is "integrity" of the slab on top of a slick, non-bonded surface that makes avalanches possible. It's not possible to "weaken" the snowpack by driving on it or skiing on it. You seriously need major avalanche education, you don't have a clue.

"Ski tracks/snowmachine tracks are not evidence of intelligent life".

  • Got to love you tube. Comments like yours can make every moron an expert.

  • Actually, genius, I'm a professional rescuer and avalanche dog handler. I just dug a dead snowmachiner out of the snow last week, coincidentally enough. So go ahead, disregard my advice; it's job security for me I guess.

  • Why than did the hill slide when the sledder started sidehilling? You are telling me it was a coincidence? Ya the hill was going to slide eventually but it was the machine that caused it to slide at that particular time. You ever been on a snowmobile? Have you ever seen the trenches that a snowmobile can leave?

  • i have seen many sledders dig a pit to check the layers

i agree that more and more often now there are alot of people going into the back country that havne't a clue whats stable or how to check the snow conditions

its just so easy to get there now with the new sleds. nothing wrong with them i have a new sled but i do take precautions and am constantlly trying to learn as much as i can about the snow and the environment

  • He didn't know the hill was gonna slide if he did he wouldn't of hit it! You sled haters are acting like shitheads with your stupid comments! Yes, it wasn't the smartest hill to hit (especially this season) but nobody got hurt and a good lesson was learned. Get over it!

  • OMG. After digging out "2 dead idiots" that have done the same thing this year. I can't believe you would want to try to end up like them

  • my question is if so many of you hate sledders and are wishing he would have died, why the fuck are you posting or even watching the video?

thank god he made it out alright and to everyone saying sledders deserve to be burried and not rescued from with tax $ then what about all the ppl skiing or snowshoing? they trigger avi's too...

and everyone saying its alot of deaths how mant ppl die in car crashes or bike crashes every year? more then sledding thats for sure

  • I'm a sleder and a snowboarder, and you have a point....but we have to take calculated riskes and educated decisions based on the data that we see (snow/slope analysis), and what the CAA reports. At this time of year especially, is barely coming out alive the risk we want to take?

  • Your question is twofold:

    1. After working for hours or even days to get into the backcountry on foot, it's kind of annoying when a mob of posers with little or no respect/awareness shows up riding loud machines and acting they're the shit.

    2. Are you really trying to say only people who think this rider is cool and smart should comment or watch this video? Really?

  • What makes you think WoodyLittle that they are posers and they "act like they're the shit?" What reasoning do you have on this? Nothing. You dont know this man, frankly i think you should stfu. Thinking you know a little something.

  • There are areas set aside for both motorized and non motorized winter activities yet snowshoers can still sure the sledders playground. What makes you think all sledders have no respect for the enviro? there is less psi with a sled than almost anything on the snow and i pack everything out that i bring in.

I am not saying that you have to agree or think he was in the right to post just commenting on some of the tasteless comments why would you ever wish for a fellow human/enthusiast to die?

  • all you guys callin them idiots why dont you keep your thoughts to yourself. these people sled in the mountains becuase they love it. i would know ive been there a number of times and i love it it is amazing. sure there are lots of people who die in avalanches and lots of those people dont wear beacons or proper equipment. but also there are people who make it out. over the past year two people have died in valemount b.c. which is where i go and that isnt' going to stop me from going there.

  • accually you know what?? im a 13 year old girl and how many times have YOU been sledding in the mountains??? if you haven't it is absolutely amazing and hey im not any extreme rider or anything and i just like climbing even little hills. i have climbed that hill but not far. just becuase somebody goes to the mountains sledding doesn't mean there gonna go climb some crazy chute. and if people are smart they wont sit at the bottom of a hill when there friends go up to climb it. i certainly dont

  • and by the way you are talking im guessing you have never been sledding in the mountains cuz if you had, you would not have said any of the things you did. sledding in b.c. is one of the things that i tried, i loved it, and i will continue to do it as long as i can. and ya,they made a mistake of climbing that and the others sitting at the bottom like that. but that doesnt mean you have to leave comments to EVERYBODY that sleds there telling them how stupid they are cuz they're not

  • Your right sweetie!! Way to say..Im also a girl..its not just a guy sport!!! Keep it up but just play it safe!!

  • You don't have to be Grizzly Adams to see that face was just WAITING to slide. Hate to think anyone would do something that destructive for the purpose of cheap thrills.

  • WoodyLittle, if Grizzly Adams had been covered in the avalanche do you think the bears he befriended would dig him out?

  • Wouldn't count on it. Bears have a keen sense of smell and they're great diggers. Still, they're a little unpredictable. Generally, they do what they want. Maybe if you had a bag of garbage tied to your neck?

  • Actually that was a hill where they used to have climbing competitions, never really was expected to slide. I do appreciate your attempt to make fun tho. NIce try.

  • It was pretty much "expected to slide" by anyone with a single clue.

  • No wonder so many of these guys die - idiots!

  • ya maybe we should sit at home living vicariously through other people or beating off to porn on the computer rather than living.
