Moi aussi, j'étais inquiète lorsque j'ai essayé la nouvelle interface au tout début, je crois que tout n'était pas prêt. Maintenant, j'ai recommencé avec le nouveau layout, c'est sobre (gris), mais beaucoup plus pratique. J'ai pu afficher une grande sélection de playlists. J'aime bien le système des onglets. Dommage pour les couleurs, mais peut-être que c'est en projet. Bon courage pour le 7 mars.

I keep telling you people boycotting is not going to change anything. Google/YouTube will do what ever it takes to surpass Facebook. This is about money, numbers and control. And much less about what YOU think of the channel layout. What they WILL listen to is people closing their accounts and moving to Facebook, Vimeo, ZippCast, anything not associated with Google.

Keep in mind that YouTube is a "service". It runs on advertising...not the people who use it.

I think this new idea is perfect for YouTube!!! I love the idea....example,,why pay cable or satellite providers when u can get it free on YouTube. When it got sued by people for infringement on music or copyrighted material it lost profit. So this new idea is a way to bypassing that and lets admitte that currently the channels do suck!! Get YouTube Downloader and download as many of your favorites as you can. Most comps today have many gigs of extra memory - USE IT! I've got 477 videos and still have plenty of room (and an extra HD). Then, when something else (better) comes along, just upload all the stuff you got from YT. In the meantime, on boycott days like yesterday, I have plenty of entertainment to watch.

I've removed all of my videos from youtube and I've started deleting playlists now, though I can't bear to part with some. I'm on my way out. Youtube is not a very nice nor healthy environment now. Zippcast holds many features Youtube does (Uploading videos,Watching,Rating videos,Subbing people Etc..The basics) and many that YT doesn't have or never has had (You can also upload Audio files and pictures for people to view, not to mention Zippcast has a Chat system ) It has a Nice channel Layout, Almost a copy of the YT 2008 Layout.

So what are you waiting for? If YT wont change, then go to the place that will give you what you want, Zippcast.

@beowulf3075 i don't think there is much of a solution, unless there is an alternative. i do think any alternative will be drowned out, or bought up. u could totally avoid searching with google, and use yahoo, instead, but even they are getting bought out by google, so...i haven't willingly adopted anything. seems to me like most everything youtube does to "improve the experience" gets worse and worse. however, to boycott for one day per week will not be felt by them.

@biguglytrux I have started using Alta Vista which is owned by yahoo! then I ran into a ridiculous problem with Yahoo! and is there no limit to monopolies in the USA?

There are several alternatives, but not as developed as YT, AT THE MOMENT.

I disagree about the boycott 1 day a week, people can feel free to do more than 1 day, I do. Whatever happens at least we can say we tried.

I agree with Nintendude712 - use adblock. So far they haven't bought them out.

@tubi333 Hi my friend, I got the info that it was every Friday also, but others now say every Sunday. So.....I now think it's been changed to every Sunday. Checking-out these channel change protest video comment pages, is a good way to get feedback and more information. My channel is closed down at present (19.20pm Sunday 1st January UK Time) until 2nd. I will close down my channel every Sunday. I do not know how long we have to continue with the protest before UTube introduce the changes.
