Between 1945 (capitulation) and 1949 about 12 million Germans (civilians and POWs, both ethnic Germans and Reich Germans) were massacred or starved in Europe. "Only" 7 to 8 million Germans died during the actual World War II. The genocide attempt against the Germans is unremembered, denied, relativized, and scarcely commemorated. But the death toll remains. As does the moral hypocrisy of the "great antifascist victors".
