@WeThePeople1770 The movie was terrible. Single worst movie I have ever seen only made worse by Eragon(and Inheritance) being my favorite novels. Only fitting actors were Ajihad, Nasuada and possibly Brom. I mean wtf happened at the ending. It's like they had the beginning, the middle featured Arya, and really shitty ending. Maybe 10 minutes of the entire movie came from the book. Oh and what the hell were the Urgals???

yeah, I def remember this in Eldest. I think Oromis tells this story- with many of the exact wordings, to Eragon during his training. I could be wrong, though. I'll have to read it again... which I was gonna do anyways, lol. Love these books.

Indeed it was in eldest. but, if my memory serves it is not word for word. It was orginally going to be in eragon and Brom was going to explain it. but, it was cut out due to length restrictions. It was then put into eldest but not word for word (I believe, I could be wrong but..). also this is one of the few times (If not the only time) that Christopher Paolini has released a soundtrack of him reading something from his books.
