  • i thought this was real for a second

  • Hi, Thanks most helpful :) I cant get my objects to cast shadows and I cant get the `ground plane` to show them! Plane ( with a cube sitting on top) for the ground in Blender with the following settings, AO (on) & a spot light to create the shadow: Plane (ground) settings.. Transparancy (on) Ztransparancy Recieve (on) Recieve transparancy (on) cast shadows only (off) Shadows only (on) cast buffer shadows(0.000) auto ray bias (on) cast approx (on) AO shadows seen but not spot light shadows!
  • spooky sound track

  • I realize this was a long time ago, but have you tried blender's new motion tracker? (tomato) I don't think it can do everything that syntheyes can, but it can handle thus stuff.

  • Love 2 know how u got it to reflect the environment/video back drop? .. Good job ;)

  • which program did u used?to make ufo fx :)

  • I love the mood you created, you're almost telling a story in less than 30 sec, you should make movies !

  • What did u use? Syntheyes or After effects?

  • Excellent work!

  • its funny how there seams to be no training for syntheyes, yet people are able to pull stuff out of their butt and make stuff. strange.

  • Very cool, but the shadow is a little too dark... :)

  • thanks for info at the beginning :D awesome work too :)

  • how did you do the reflectiion Thx

  • @stonecoldnwo It's actually really easy, just take a sphere...a large one...put your model IN it and give the sphere the texture from the outside (make a few pictures) and you're all set :-)

  • @b03tz how do you render out the reflections but not the sphere? stupid question i'm sure.

  • could you do a tutorial on the ufo texturing?

  • @oxic93 It's actually really easy, just take a sphere...a large one...put your model IN it and give the sphere the texture from the outside (make a few pictures) and you're all set :-)

  • shit! that freaked me out! that is sooooo epic and awsome.

  • @theguyinthefunnyhat Thanks man! :D

  • @ygvb1 Thanks

  • @b03tz

Hi, this is amazing and i am using cinema 4d and dont understand how u did the reflections. Can you make a tutorial, thanks!

  • i'm interested to know what method did u use to make the reflective thingy dissapear.

  • @rockzen97 It is done with post effects...in after effects...i made it blur away with a motion blur horizontal

  • @b03tz lol and i was thinking that u changed the opacity value over time

  • @rockzen97 I think the "reflective thingy" is a ufo... just guesssing

  • @BluePi1313 Yea ^^

  • how do u get the blender files into synth i cnt understand how lol

  • that's amazing!!!... how did you do the reflections??...reflection map??...i would really like to know how this works

  • @fusslteppich It's actually really easy, just take a sphere...a large one...put your model IN it and give the sphere the texture from the outside (make a few pictures) and you're all set :-)

  • this is really good! you should do a quick tutorial, not so much on the tracking, but on how you did the reflection. would like to see it. good work. :))

quick question.... how long did it take to render? i know it says 6 hours to 'create' but how much of that was rendering time? thanks

  • @RagstoRich It's actually really easy, just take a sphere...a large one...put your model IN it and give the sphere the texture from the outside (make a few pictures) and you're all set :-) 2 hours was rendering time...

  • Bravo!

  • Please tutorial .::!!!

  • looked awesome. if the lighting was a little better it would have looked really cool

  • Very nice!!! How were you able to achieve the realistic reflection. Was it HDR? I'd love to know how to did it!

  • Laat een spaceship uit de grote veld voor je huis komen. ala x-men

  • @dennisderaaf ALLAH!

  • Woow, pretty awesome!

  • OMG THATS SO COOL HOW DID U MAKE IT INTO THE VIDEO

  • @dalekandjedi Thanks alot man! It's a technique called motion tracking, it's what they use in films as well :)

  • @b03tz yer i know that its so wicked what programs did u use for the tracking becuase i would lke to do that :D

  • @dalekandjedi It's all in the description :) and in front of the movie ^^
