At my park, Dorney Park also owned by Cedar Fair they will kick you out if they catch you taking pictures on rides. Dorney Park has a good security force that roams the park looking for rule breakers and law breakers. They have the power to call the local township police and have you arrested if what you did was really serious.
@rwk360 And there's nothing more serious than innocently taking a camera with a hand/wrist strap on a ride to get some footage. There are some stupid people who don't know how to hold on to something, but it still seems so innocent. Even if the camera were to go somewhere, chances are it will fall in some backstage area. This is why they have nets under most modern coasters when they cross over pathways. The fact that any park would call the police when there are real criminals out is beyond me.
I was at Kings Dominion yesterday and before then I had never ever ridden Volcano in my life and I always wanted to just to see how the ride is well yesterday I got to ride it for the first time ever after waiting like two hours in the line
@AngryLlamaAttack 0 to 70 in 3 seconds -- there are TWO acceleration points, one exiting the station and then a second afterwards thrusting you vertically up and out of the volcano - I believe that acceleration rate considers both magnetized propelling spots together... not just the initial rate.
Wow this ride is pretty cool. Not my favorite but i rode this in the front row (on the left seat) and i didnt see the launch coming and my head slammed into the back of the seat. Still fun!

2.) Laws of Physics pertaining to coasters can be predicted and adjusted to. Besides, I never studied Law. ;o)
3.) I do put the camera away. So I do, in fact, listen to the operators. Then I take the camera out. I am that good at hiding it.
4.) Maybe I'm wrong, but 1.8 million people say I'm right.

i need advice like badly: whenever we go on a drop, i have a tendency to lean foward (wit lap-bar coasters). now im scared of going on rides like this (over-the-shoulder-harnesses) due to my leaning foward and not being able to move my body too much. does anybody have any tips for this?????
@callofduty4890 it is the best one in the park!! well back lot i thought was the best because the line is short and you can go around like 15times in a row and it won't get boring!! this ride has a slow station and a really long line some times.
@MBrilhart I was there yesterday, I barely rode the Volcanoe, always wanted to!!... before rode the volcanoe i tried out the intimidator 305, gotten lucky since the line was short... started to rain really heavy for nearly an hour so... we waited in the volcanoe line for 20-40 mins,..first groupd of people get back on tha ride :D its gonna be really tough to get in a short line i can tellya that,... its gonna be really tough
@steelforce But that hasn't stopped you from watching the videos... Would that not mean you're promoting the use of cameras on roller coasters? How about we keep the comments clean and just enjoy the coasters, either online or in person.
