most of the methods used my the military to dampen recoil are illegal for civilians because it would make it easy for person ownership of high caliber weaponry.  you only need one shot to kill an animal so high recoil doesnt matter, but if you were trying to kill a bunch of people, you wouldnt be able to recover in time to make a second shot. all in all, hunting is the point, and making it difficult to kill people is the other point.

To stop the backward impact on your shoulder, you should lean forward, left leg bent, right leg stretch back. In this way, when the gun fires, you won't fall back, because you've leaned forward.
