@selah2011 with respect, The term born again or born from above does not pertain to Jesus in the sense that he somhow needed to be born from above after he had already been born through the virgin Marry. Jesus was born from above the first time. It is sinners that must be born again or born from above by face through faith.Jesus did not need to be born again since he is God!
@musicprodave the problem is rests within the word "again" which is translated incorrectly in the English. Behind the English word "again" used in John 3:3 is the Greek word "anothen" and it doesn't mean again in the sense of repeating something another time or once more... that word anothen means "from above". In Mark 15:38 where it talks about veil of the temple being torn from "top" to bottom.....that word "top" is the same word that was incorrectly translated in John 3 as again...
Yashua (Jesus) was born from above when He resurrected. Even the greek word for resurrection means "to be born"...the Apostle Paul wrote that Christ has been "raised from the dead" and thus becoming THE FIRST BORN of many brethren. Life and Peace.
Bill Johnson once gave a testimony that I can relate to. In fact, he's the only Pastor who has ever given that testimony yet I'm sure others have experienced it. He said one night in his bed, after he had called out to God, he experienced electrical touches up his legs and all over his body. Like a massage sort of, unsure how to explain it, but I needed to know what it was.. then I saw his testimony & was satisfied that it happens to someone else who communes with the Spirit of God
RELAX!!! Jesus is the first begotten from the dead. Revelation 1:5 "And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead...".
You all seem to enjoy "hunting heretics" instead of getting the gist of his message. Give your full testimonies!
let them be judge by there fruit all i got to say whats God doing through you critics not leading thousands of people to victory through christ like this hero of the faith
I find it questionable as to whether the term "born again" is appropriate to be used for Jesus' resurrection, but, in this case, he clearly states that he is stretching the meaning to include it. At the most, it's a matter of terminology. It's not that big a deal. I wouldn't use such a term for His resurrection myself though. The rest of Johnson's sermon seems doctrinally sound. And "born again" isn't even the main theme in this whole speech. It's misleading to make it the title.
@selah2011 With respect, the term "born again" is a term used by Jesus in John chapter three. It referrs to sinful man needing to be born again in the Spirit by recieving God's grace through faith in Christ for forgiveness of sin. To say Jesus was "Born Again" is to say that he had sin, and that is heretical. Jesus was resurrected from the dead. NOT BORN AGAIN!
"Born again" in reference to resurrection is not Scriptural and I think this is what people are kicking against. To use the same language that the Bible uses for salvation to reference the "resurrection" is dangerous and not very good discernment. Sorry :(
Totally legit teaching!!! Love it! Thanks for posting! Truly amazing what happens when you arm yourself with some testimonies and begin to share with others what the Lord has done. God totally rocks peoples worlds! Amazing! Just releasing the Kingdom wherever we go. Our job assignment is just to reveal the King and His Kingdom. Yeah, God! Blessings to all of those who persecute men and women of God on here...much love to you all! =)
@diewahrheitistnochda Heidi Baker is the real deal. I have seen her loving and dying in the dirt daily, just as she teaches. She is the most humble person I have ever spoken too and so completely engulfed in the Love of Christ.
Most man-centered preacher out there. Everything he talks about is to lift up man, to get something for man. Where's the Gospel, where's the call to repentance and faith with this man? It's not there because Bill is an enemy of the Gospel.
@raideragent People, this is mysticism, gobble-dee-goop. What he's talking about is NOT in the Bible, he's making this stuff up. Flee Bill Johnson and Bethel.
@raideragent All of this stuff about the Ark of the covenant, the mercy seat, holy of hollies, etc is indeed in the Bible. Even the veil torn when Christ died for our sins is just one of many prophetic illustration of how we can have full access into His throne of Grace,,, through believing/depending/resting on and in what Christs work has done.1 Jh 4:17-18
Sottatutube and anyone else watching: Jesus was perfect in every way. He was not "Born Again". He is God very God. He IS! He iss fully God and was fully man in the flesh. He is perfect never needing to be born again. don't follow man. There is a way that man considers right in his own eyes; but it is the way unto death.
I love this man's teaching. It is so encouraging, and points to clear scriptural truths. A call to follow simply the teaching of Jesus. Nothing wacky or esoteric just simply doing what Jesus clearly said to do: tell others that something awesome is available here and now - the rule and blessing of God to change your reality. Turn from your self and sins, change your thinking to align with what God says, believe it. Then demonstrate the message - heal the sick, push out demonic influence etc

@selah2011 you might consider changing the title to mention "testimony" instead of "born again"

This guy's message is "slippery" and "slick". I don't trust it. It's not a BIBLE message. He appears to be like the pied piper re-incarnated.

@RsinsRpaid I wasn't talking about that part, it was the "born again Jesus" part most likely.
