saw the fingers 3 times round bout 1989-92 i think, at the barrowlands, fucking amazing, im a clash fan but they 3 shows fucking knackered me, always have a place for the fingers, try n get to see them again in october

I've seen these guys about four times and they never fail to put on a good show. They usually play the Empire in Belfast at Christmas. The songs have stood the test of time and they still get 40 somethings pogoing in front of the stage at concerts :)

I saw Strummer in 2001 or so when he came to DC with the Mescaleros. His rendentious of Clash songs were fine, but no comparison to vids I've seen of Clash circa 1979. The advantage the Clash had was that their songs are actually interesting on their own.

SLF were a decent punk band, but only playing punk music, which requires speed and some aggression.

Green Day Kerplunk @ 1039 Smooth are awesome albums, so are the SLF first three albums, along with everything King Crimson has done. Even Yes has at least 7 great albums. Private Dicks have an LP coming out on rave up records, Shes say's go, Green is in the red, two of the best tunes ever. Blink 182 suck, I'll agree to that.

i saw them in the 7ts, they are the best. I don´t want to sound boring but there are no other bands writing songs like slf (or Buizzcocks, Clash, Pistlos, Undertones aso..) today. Green Day is an exeption they are quite cool even if they stole Basket Case from The Boys (UK mod band from the past century)
