Now this question comes from my extreme lack of knowledge and experience, but, don't you ever worry about wild animals, i.e., wolves, bears, etc???

@trcmn09 I don't worry.....I stay aware. Have met up with wolves on the trail......smelled bear and often coyotes.

I hang my food at night and am not cooking raw meat.

So far so good. I reckon the piney woods are always a risk. More scared of trees falling.
