When looking at it without a mirror the left most button is green and hit by the left most finger(which in this case while playing with his right hand is the pointer finger. Now if he used a mirror the left most button(orange) would need to be hit with his right most finger(pinky) and that would only make it harder. Now playing on lefty flip would mean that using a mirror would be beneficial but for this it is not.
