There were many greek fascists during ww2 who fought on germany's side ( my grandfather included). Alot of people forget that greece once conquered, like many other nations, became a satalite state for germany and any greek willing could fight in german uniform as my grand pa did. He said he was no fascist though, he just would rather the germans run things than the communist soviets. If germany did not invade the soviets would have eventualy taken Greece to control shipping.
