  • This was very helpful, since I didn't get rid of my little Sizzix machine! I love the new spellbinders & other wafer thin metal dies like MFT die-namics, & Memory-Box dies. I can now give this to my 14 year old, & use it to work with girl scout projects. They will really enjoy the professional results.

  • I never considered using Spellbinders in the Sidekick; thank you for the video. I was able to emboss with this sandwich (starting at bottom): cutting plate, two cardstock shims, Spellbinders die, project paper, 1/8-inch thick silicone mat cut from a baking sheet (or plumber's gasket), cutting plate. The shims will vary depending on the individual machine and project paper being cut. My Sidekick rolled smoothly with this sandwich, without forcing it. Thanks again for the great idea.

  • @karodora Thank you for the sandwich recipe. I bought the plumber's gasket but never tried it. :) Lisa

  • thank uuuuuu!!

  • for the embossing go to your local hardware store or HomeDepot or Lowes and buy Plumbers gasket ... it is like the tan embossing mat cut down to size of cutting mat and ... take out the spacers and add you are supposed to beable to emboss. Hope this helps

  • love that smilie face - thanks!!

  • Great tip! TFS :o) x
