That was good way to select contestants for the main game. Having clebs give clues to 4 players and being the first to 3 works and gives alot more people a chance to play. WHile Password has always been slow paced, that really gave it a speed element. I liked it and it was executed greatly; it was no masterpiece, but it was compared to the new lightning round.

To answer setheriah. "Yes" was thrown out because the player who buzzed in did not hear the clue "No" and was asking for qualification. In this version of Password as I remember, the qualifying round was "rapid fire", only buzz in if you have a response. In other words, if you didn't hear the clue, don't buzz in.

I liked this version the most of all the Password formats! Too bad it didnt last that long :(
