Cut the audience some slack, people. Try to imagine if you were there. You wouldn't have seen this coming. Because typically, whenever Dave (or any comedian) sets up a "story", it's usually a prelude to a punchline. So if they're laughing here, it's because they're really not sure where Dave's going with it. It's easy to condemn them NOW. But they didn't know this was real in the moment.
You can say what you want but at least he had the balls to come forward with it and not try and cover it up. He could have easily lied and paid people off. Coming forward like he did actually saved his career so I respect him for that. People make mistakes, plain and simple. Just because he's an entertainer doesn't make him immune to a fuck up here and there. And to the "perfect" shit throwing people out there, don't be so quick to judge...
HAHAHA... HE LITERALLY GOES OUT AND SAYS "I CHEATED ON MY WIFE" AND THE FUCKERS IN THE AUDIENCE CLAP AND LAUGH
I WOULD HAVE BOOED MY HEAD OFF AND THROWN MY OWN SHIT AT HIS FACE! HAHAHA
this is FUCKED UP. I ain't no fucking conservative but this guy is hardly a man. He turns his failure as a man/husband into a joke for his little audience to laugh at (thats not even funny btw). what a fucking bag of smelly old shit this old cunt is.
What kind of fucked up audience laughs when he announces his multiple affairs... I can tell how much it hurt Letterman through his facial expressions...
@ciangvian A good portion of his audience are foreign tourists...It's NYC. Funny how the world often views Americans as idiots...We're smart enough to not move away and live in what ever shit-hole country you're from.
What a bottom feeder. Hmm trying to make this into something funny. Maybe David Letterman used the power of TV stardom to get into bed with these women/girls. CBS fire David Letterman he is not funny at all anytime! Creepy stuff, what a jerk.
"I'm a fan of Dave's, so please spare the comments, you dirty conservatives! :P"
Thank you for the compliment. If you're saying that Conservatives are opposed to people having affairs, then I appreciate the kind words. I'd rather be critical of infidelity than accept it as a legitimate activity as you Leftist lowlifes do.
NBD. He's keeping the salacious details to himself, as he should. The only person he may owe an apology to is his wife (maybe not, who knows where they were in their relationship). He's definitely not like some politicians who call to be on moral high ground while they're doing something (someone) on the side that they want to keep quiet. (I can name Republicans and Democrats.)
I commend Dave for coming forward with this. He explained it like only David Letterman can. Dave is still the best talk show host on late night; can't nobody touch him!
He didn't do 'terrible' things he did natural things with (I assume) other consenting adults. Who's business is it but theirs? Letterman is a true gent for not only being upfront and talking about it (as it probably would have leaked sooner or later), but also trying to keep the women's details private.
I think the audience were laughing as they couldn't believe 'good old Dave' would do 'terrible' things. From what he's detailed I don't believe he has either.
Letterman is a grown man, he can do anything he wants. No woman has come forward to tell the world what a bad person he is.. by that I am going to assume everything was done with willing parties with no one hurt. It takes alot of balls to let the world know before the tabloids and media take it out of context
This guy has guts, he had probably the creepiest experience of his life and manages to be funny while manning up to it. Dude's a genius.

Half awkward, mostly uncomfortable, somewhat funny. But I commend Letterman for taking this to the public without reservations.

God, the people in the audience are morons. They laugh at every sentence. Just shows what kind of people watch this crap.

What he did was not right, but like Candym said he's a grown man and what he did actually took some courage.
Kudos to Letterman
Thanks for Uploading.
