  • The west has shown a part of Africa. But it's still correct.

  • graft politicians and crooked bankers rigged elections etc etc in afirca are nothing in comparison to the guys in the "free western world",.,.yeh i wish tv would show us what i have seen soo often so many kenyans rushing to work at 5,30 every morning when the matatos start moving,..and as for traffic jams in nairobi,.,.they are great to have suh patience the people there,.,.the west has not shown africa correctly,.,.

  • The essence of KENYA.

  • So I'm i Parisflower76, so I'm i.

  • Now am terribly homesick ):

  • Great behind the scenes video. I love watching Survivor, especially for the excellent music that is heard each and every episode. I think its cool that you travel to the places your music is based on and inspired by.

  • Sorry, here I am again. Can you please tell me how the song is called which starts at 6:23. Or can I download it somewhere. I realy love the combination of African singing and lounge music. Already told you, magnificent video!!

  • Ancient Voices Kenya by Russ Landau you can get it on itunes. There's a lot of albums there.

  • Just great!! I'm realy speechless. How a great video you made here. Realy shows how great music culture this beautifull country got.

  • Cool video.

Most visitors like to show off their high tec to the locals.Suprise:these locals have been to New York many times...thats why they are smiling as the jungu explains equip...

  • So easy to be tough on the internet...

  • wen imf n world bank forced kenya to open up our infant industries n privatisation the result is wat u see of families whose people lost jobs, now they happy showing us entertaining them, every begining must have an end,if rome which used to call anglo saxons barbarians did fall which empire cant fall?

  • Nice video... miss Kenya

  • i love this video, Russ, any chance you'll also upload the China video?

  • How I miss this country... came home 2 days ago and in 4 months i am there again!

    God bless Africa!

    Oriti!

  • These guys are doing good work. It doesnt matter whether they are making money out of it or not. The key thing is that they are bringing smiles on those poor people. Let them be shown those gadgets. To you they are nothing but its good for those Kenyans. Some of you (sideshift8) are just biased. Maybe you do nothing for your own people back home! Shame on you.

  • Someone know the name of the great song in the end of the video?

  • Loved the video, I didn't realise that the 'Survivor' theme song was Kenyan, or is it your composition with Masais & others singing it? Either way I enjoyed it. Kenya damu!

  • Wow, I miss Kenya! Only recently I flew into Kisumu airport, as these people did. What a wonderful video.

  • You white people, stop showing animals and Kenyans in huts. We have tall skyscrappers in Kenya and Mombasa. Show the truth. There is so much more than animals and Kenyans in huts. Stop using Kenya for you own propaganda tool. Your making some money of these people dancing and singing for you. Hmmmmm.... Stop trying to make our country look like they need you. We don't. Stop trying to mezmerize the people with your gadgets and technology. Stop making yourself rich, please,it needs to stop.

  • The Massai are smart, strong, proud and fully technologically savy. It's not that the Kenyans "need us" as you seem to think I'm implying. What they need is for all the fat cat politicians to stop grafting off their people. I saw your skyscrapers...and I also saw aids and TB ridden mothers hurtling themselves against the great windows of these buildings in futile last cries for help. Meanwhile, throughout the onslaught of the information age, the Massai maintain their culture and their dignity.

  • Well said. Keep making your amazing music, Russ. It's so emotionally-fueled...and PLEASE change the voices a little more for Survivor: China!

  • @sideshift8 hahahahahaha
