You could have done this:

1. Open console, type sv_cheats 1

2. Type noclip and close the console

3. Move into the area where the curiosity core is and point at it

4. Open console and type ent_fire !picker kill

5. Type sv_cheats 0

6. Close console and play.

Ending of the prelude is questionable, like did she survive and take a nap in the parking lot at the end? what about the other intelleginces like the "angry" and the "asking", understood the neurotoxins one, and y the f*ck did they add lasers, and neurotoxins in the facility? cake is understood, and y did they install glados? they shouldve understood that it may be corrupt, possibly portal 2 may answer all of these questions that prelude and original...
