It's more commonly referred to as a procharger though.

actually procharger does make turbocahrgers because they require a blow off valve and intercooler when superchargers just need and intake tube

Superchargers are mechanically driven by a belt or chain. Turbochargers are driven by exhaust gases.

procharger makes superchargers not turbochargers. Also, it's definitely a vortech, the guy says so at 0:38 seconds.
