guys it still depends, if you get lagi armor, and give it attack up large, the elemental damage + raw damage wouldve been colossal for dancing hellfire, but given just the raw power > elemental hit ratio, the critical attack of wyvern blade flare plus the given lagi armor's attributes, the flare would be even more powerful since its affinity is much higer.

2. get the cap ability to where you know when to cap

3. you can farm godbugs or stormsender seeds while doing this

4. send ships to treasure to get eggs that sell for big bucks

Best way is Firey Skies, Frozen Fields online. It may be really hard, but I've done it in under 6 minutes and it gives you 42,000z on completion. Selling rewards bumps it up to about 75,000 so that mayyyyy be just a little quicker... Maybe.

@giantyoshi101 Every weapon has an element. If you check the stats of the weapons, such as the raw damage it gives, next to this should have an Element symbol and the amount of elemental damage the weapon does.

Generally speaking, Qurupeco weapons have Fire element, Ludroth have Water element, etc.

You should search "Monster Hunter Tri Wiki" and there is an entire wiki site dedicated for the MH series.

Save the quality sponges, give them to junior for 1000 mogapoints each and use these to cultivate godbugs, stormseeds or anything else wich sells for high prices, to get even more money. I reccomend stormseeds. They sell for less, but Godbugs need way more mogapoints to cultivate. If you can go online and dont want to farm R. Ludroth, buy the cheapest fish from the boy in loc-lac and convert them to mogapoints.

@iluvpurpledawn well that still means the actual hammer did NOT cut the tail. only cutting dmg weapons can do that. GS, Lance (depends on what monster though), SnS, LS (Don't use this online..), Bowgun (Certain ammo) Hammer CANNOT Cut it.

@GgFish06121994 To sever a Tail you have to hit around the midsection of it. No hammers cant sever tails, they can smash perts of certain monsters though. You can use a longsword to cut off a monsters tails but i dont think you can smash off the crest on the barroths head with one.

1st u have to deal enough damage to the tail.2nd ask ur slash type cat to cut it off for u or u can start throwing boomerangs.

And do not trade in the fish from the hunting fleet for resources especially Scatterfish and Sleepyfish you should keep those and you use the farm to increase the amount of rare items you have such as godbugs and dragontoadstools so that you can make useful items more easily I am HR 59 and have beaten all offline quests

Farming is great for making money.

I'm hr 95 and I beat the game offline too.

I agree that you don't sell scatterfish and sleepyfish though, they have far greater uses than just money.

I usually just farm like 150 or so might seeds with fertalizer and then sell them all, then farm ala and sell parts for money.

3 words: Farm Stormsender Seeds! They sell for 130 apiece (yes less than godbugs) but only use 20p for 1 stack meaning you get more money in the long run. 3 cats that do 10 stacks each will bring you a steady flow of zenny. For boats, send one to get treasure and the other 2 to get fish that you can trade in to get resource points. While your waiting for night to turn to day hunt R ludroth. You get soooo much money from doing all of this! :D

You get MONEY from the fishing boats and quests.

I'm at the end of 3 star quest offline (Hunting Gobul) and I'm at 3 star quest online (Lagi, Rathalos, Baggi, etc) And I know my way might not be the best - But it is really good to keep a constant stream of money flowing in, even if it isn't that much.

I dont know how godbug are worth but stormsender seed are are way more easy to produce than godbugs.

Also yes you can make money via the boats, but sometimes, bad luck, you just get a poor steel egg while you can get a constant 9000 zenny via the farm.

@metaking20 If you use your farm for money, you are not a player I want to be online with. Why? I bet you never carry Large Barrel bomb +, traps, ancient potion, etc, etc. Stuff which you use the farm for. I mean, I see people not using mega potion .... come on! That's so much fail. I use my farm for combination materials. Also, farming easy monsters can net you good profit, not-used carves can be used ( look at queroppeco) and it goes on. I for one use my farm that way.

in online mode, there a trading lady who get sometime what you want; its how I got 200 honey for almost nothing.

Also, you can easy get items for honey to the online lady by using your fishing boat and get commodies which you then trade to the captain for the item, which for some reason I can't remember the name of.. -.-.. Nevertheless, do as you like, and I do what I want, and everybody is happy.

I use my honey to make might pills rather than worthless potions.

Seriously, you're not supposed to get hit in the first place!

And I never carry plus bombs except for ala because I don't need them, I don't sleepbomb which is all they are good for. I also don't use ancient or max potions because I never wait like half an hour before healing. I hardly ever get hit, but I do know when not to be cocky and not heal.

The money is a bit less (140z for might vs 120z for stormsender per seed), but the might seeds cost 100p (resource points) per cycle to farm while stormsenders only cost 20p per cycle. on a fully upgraded farm you'll get about 20,000-30,000z per crop, but it only cost 300p vs 3000p it costs to do the same with might seeds.

He only had 20 seconds because he captured the monster instead of killing it (so he couldn't even carve the monster)... and usually you try to carve the tail before finishing the fight ^^ I hope it answered your question.
