  • holy CRAPPPP this is gonna be INSANELY cool when we do it. XD

  • Why is this song entitled "Pseudo" Yoik?

  • This song is fantastic and so is your choir :)

  • My choir sang this for three days ago. At first i didn´t like it because it´s very strange but in the end i really liked it. I just wonder, does anyone understand this: Den här sången är världens bästa?

  • Den här sången är världens bästa is the same as "this song is the worlds best" :)

  • I sang this in my choir a couple days ago. It is a very fun and intresting song. I'm from finland myself so this song kind a brings me closer to my culture. I live in sweden now :D so i'm glad to hear this song :D

  • its helped me much in the same way

  • It's called "lite" because it's female choir version and the original is for mixed choir. This version doesn't go so well, I'm sorry. The key is not the same in the end anymore, it's going up very much, and I can't hear altos almost at all. But anyway, nice try, this is very difficult song to sing well.

  • my choir sang this. go gondwana voices it sounded awesome

  • the hai nan where all the different sections started on different counts is COOL! good job!

  • finland isn't cold contry :D thats lie here here even isn't snow : )

  • this song is actually only a parody of typical finns' prejudices about yoiks. it's not a real yoik.

    ...but well sung! :)

  • I LOVE Lapland and when is white in winter ^^ I think our country is beautiful :) (Yes, I'm Finnish) :p

  • sabe alguien porque se llama "lite?"

does anyone know why it's called "lite?"

  • esta es la version para un coro de voces altas. por eso se llama lite. la original se llama solamente pseudo yoik, y la version para voces bajas se llama pseudo yoik NT.

the SSAA version is called lite, and the TTBB version is called NT.

    [dan]

  • of course i know this song, i'm singing in this version (i'm 2nd soprano)! lol

i don't know other lapish songs, but many other songs from all around the world (south africa, finland, france, south america, japan, corea ...).

it's "Le Choeur des Jeunes de La Monnaie", that means "choir of the young of La Monnaie, a big opera here in Belgium. you can check it on the web.

    And thanks for your comment.
