  • ugh digusting

  • Yeah at first I was saying oh gross rats!!! RATS????? Then I realized how do you decide which animals you should be kind to and which ones are "pests" or "vermin". You can't. It's all or nothing. If you give permission for someone to be cruel to a rat then you give permission to someone to be cruel to say...Bambi ...a fawn... no what I mean?

  • @zamusicza That's an extreme view in my opinion. Some animals are better than others, just like some people are better than others.

  • @threeby8887 Suit yourself. I'll err on the side of kidness.

  • ohh look shoes are on sale :D lmao

  • there so cute. i used to feed one when i worked at this little golf course he'd sit on the counter and eat gold fish <3

  • Reminds me of the four ratties I rescued after the ’94 'quake. My husband had unearthed their nest from rubble in our yard. Our dog chased the mama away. They were under 10 days old, with some fur, and eyes still closed. I bottle-fed them until they could eat solids. My boys were tame, smart, and affectionate, kissing my hand whenever I fed them. Two lived past 5 years; quite ancient for a rat. I don't miss the smell, but I do miss their antics. Funny guys! :0)

  • @reinbeauchaser And mine were roof rats, not norway.

  • I love your videos, but I can't hear you unless I turn the volume up really loud. Is there anything you can do about that?

  • Awe they're so cute! XD

  • Nice video! What kid of rats are they?

  • @memonk11 Norway rats, non-native to California.

  • @MaryCummins Oh noooo. The dreaded Norway rat. Oh well. still pretty cute and deserving of a happy life in the woods. Keep up the good work!

  • @MaryCummins Correction, they're roof rats. Roof rats (or black rats--Rattus Rattus) have large ears and eyes, pointed snouts, and their tails are longer than their heads and bodies combined. Norways (or brown rats--Rattus Norvegicus) have smaller eyes and ears, blunt snouts, and their tails are shorter than their heads and bodies combined.

  • @MaryCummins those are actually rattus rattus not norway rats.

  • Wow! that's a great deal on shoes.

  • there so cute!

  • popcorn'ing? whats that

  • @iShrimpEater That's when they jump straight up just like a kernel of corn being popped.
