The idea that the Martin Eisenstadt character is a hoax is ridiculous. I worked with Marty during the Reagan presidency. Our biggest exploit was to get President Reagan to call the Afghanistan Talisban the moral equivalent of our founding fathers.
Marty, You make yourself look foolish every time you open your mouth. Just like Palin, you blame the damn media for broadcasting the stupid things that come out of your mouth. Pathetic, toxic narcissists - all of you. Normal people work very hard trying to build a just society for ALL and all Republicans work to divide and destroy it. Please rapture on out of here already and leave normal people alone!
The New York Times reported that "Martin Eisenstadt doesn't exist. His blog does, but it's a put-on. The think tank where he is a senior fellow -- the Harding Institute for Freedom and Democracy -- is just a Web site.
Sorry to disappoint you, but what you failed to notice is that the so-called New York Times story to which you refer was actually in the hoax Yes Men version of last week's New York Times. Not the real one. See my blog for more details. - Marty
Also reported a hoax by CBS News, The Huffington Post and MSNBC. The creators of this hoax, Dan Mirvish and Eitan Gorlin are responsible for fabricating the story of Sarah Palin not knowing that Africa was a continent and Joe Wurzelbacher being a plant and a cousin of Charles Keating.
I wouldn't blame Sarah or Joe if they sued the pants off these men. And yes the Harding Inst. only exists in cyberspace. They chose to name the institute after Warren G Harding, a president of little consequence.
Massive props for Eisenstadt! Thank you for exposing just how retarded traditional media has become in this country! Hopefully they will go back to real reporting that actually vets sources from now on.
;-) Aha - this what I get for being an overworked academic - constantly mislead by hoax makers, even to the point where they infiltrate the New York Times and make up articles! As you and your co-conspirators are so good - please start making public policy that helps out. Keep up the good work
Dear people, there is no Harding Institute - these guys are actually making a lot of phony if funny clips and posting them... And best of all they were outed by the New York Times today.
We will all see a lot more of this. So stay sharp.
Please see my blog today (eisenstadtgroup-dot-com). It seems that the article in the New York Times was actually from the Yes Men hoax version of the Times, not the real one.
Look at you eating crow now, lol!! Was it your voice that said "African-Americans don't like blacks?".... I don't understand why anybody would pay you to do anything - you have the integrity of a used car salesman.
Dickstien and Shapiro. My ass. I have laughed it off. There it goes.
