I played this song and cajun folk song in my seventh grade, and the first time i heard this song it reminded me a walk in the woods, i loved playing this song so much, i was first chair in my grade :)
I remember playing this song freshman year, and i'm a junior now. to me, it sounds like a peaceful fall day, with the leaves falling off of the trees, in beautiful colors of red, yellow, and orange. and it sounds like an indian song to me as well, just in my opinion.
I remember playing this as a 8th grader. its a beautiful song.

@dennisegarza72 1:27-2:10 is nice trumpet solo but the note at 2:06 is sharp. I really love 2:50 to the end!

this piece just brings me back! this was my first solo as a trumpet player; and i have never forgotten it; i can still sing the intervals perfectly.
