  • so you don't like the eyelashes or no?

"my mom don't put em in right."

    hahaha i love kids :)

  • Tyra's got a frigging nerve questioning putting kids in pageants when her whole career is based pn outward attractiveness, makeup and clothes.

  • That lady at the end was such an idiot. LOL

Yeah blame it on Hollywood when you're clearly sexualizing these young girls. If these competitions weren't trying to make these little girls look grown, they wouldn't be getting spray tans, using flippers, or even wearing makeup (especially not fake eyelashes).

  • spelling nazi to the rescue :P

  • yey Cows :)

  • like she can make decisions at age 5 or even! To take an extreme example; pedophiles convince children that they like 'it' and it only comes out years after that it was a traumatizing experience - a little extreme, but the same principle; children DO NOT KNOW what they like or what they don't like; grownups, especially their parents are trying to force their sick reflections of themselves on them and there is no child that likes to disappoint their parents

  • The parents probably are putting them into pagents and convincing them that they like to do it so they can live out their dreams and so they can take the winning money for themselves. It's rediculous.

  • @lexielost ridiculous*

  • I love how Tyra speaks over everyone, :L

  • how is it that all the winners of these child beauty pageants have horridly ugly mothers?

  • what kind of cow is she buying for 1000 dollars ? holy baby cows are like 50 dollars .

  • Karlee looks sooo frkn pale

  • why the fuck they have to fuck up with the kids?

The way their parents put them to the competition makes the child has thinks the way to be beautiful is to wear fake teeth, dress and makeup.

    Ugggh.

  • What are they doing to there kids!?

  • @awesomeyay12334 their*

  • usually girls just want a horse...

  • THAT SHIT IS SICK...FEEL BAD FOR THOSE LITTLE GIRLS..THEY ARE SO CUTE,CHARISMATIC AND SMART

  • society is the one sexualizing these children, not the pageants. we live in a society where my boyfriend cant even say that a little girl is cute without someone thinking its inappropriate. yet when i was a child, i was so cute that people would give me money in a candy store, so i could buy candy, literally just because i was cute.

  • The funny thing is those girls walked better than most of the Top Model contestants lol

  • There's some moms that I don't agree with that force their kids to do pageants. And i hate those little mean spoiled ones but these girls nd moms are different. For them it's just dressing up and feeling pretty and havin fun together. No big deal...

  • ''Cause I want a cow'' lol, she has her mum at least.

  • @guidedfarandthrough OMG that's so FUNNY!!!! xDDDDDD

  • Can you imagine how bad she will be crying when she doesn't get her cow?

  • You can tell that Tyra's trying really hard to make the blonde woman say something controversial.

  • I think those mums incourage their girls to peageants beacuse the mom's themselves are ugly

  • a cow seriously , lol

  • its all about the money not morals!

  • if the kids enjoy it there is nothing wrong with it. if it bothers you dont watch it.

  • The worst part of all this is making the little girls think they can get everything in life.

  • You can already tell how much of a bitch the black haired little girl is gonna be as a teenager -_-

  • My friend wants a cow too. Oh and we're in collage.

  • "advocate spokemodel"? that makes no sense...........? did she mean adamment?

  • Maybe Tyra should have kids before judging how a mother should raise her child.

  • That girl shouldn't be taught that an animal is disposable. You can't just have a cute baby cow and then sell it once it gets big; that's why we have so many animals abandoned in animals shelters. Animals aren't toys.

  • @MeltingWater7 judt shh she knows that chill doin to much

  • Comment removed

  • If their kids are "perfect" without "all that" why do these stupid pageants?

  • I think that little girl is making money... for mommy!

  • I think beauty pageants are similar to other competitive fields like baseball etc, but I think when your child particupates in such activities it is so important for them not to base their self-worth on their performance. In some ways I think beauty pageants are even worse than conventional forms of competition because they re-affirm the social message that the most important thing a female can be is beautiful. At least sports and other activities do not usually focus on appearances, but form a

  • i get a cooowww i get a cowwwwwwww

  • I love how Tyra has to get the last word all the time....lol

  • so putting a little girl in a bikini is not sexualizing them?? errr.... right.....

  • @jinnyboy8 I have some serious issues with child pageants (as I do with everything that tries to push children in unnessecary competition), but when I was a child and I was at the beach with my parents, I wore a bikini. I don't think there's anything wrong with it. After all, it's two pieces of cloth. It's about what you do with it and not what you wear. You can sexualize your child while it's wearing a potatosack. It's not that black and white.

  • @Chaeromanie no, I meant in the context of child pageants... taking my comment out of context makes it seem really different

  • honestlyy, there kindaa freakingg weirdd !

  • kids aren't puppies, they are human beings who deserve a great childhood!

  • @laraangelina Puppies don't deserve that stuff either :\

  • @RinzuRozu yeah you're right of course ;)

  • I wonder if her family suddenly get really poor and if she will whine all the time to get more money, haha

  • Okay, seriously.. I don't think I could ever do pageants for my little girl.

But it's fucking cute that she wanted a cow.

  • It sounds like Tyra is trying to make the blonde lady look bad

  • @triplasertop Because she is a bad mother.

  • cute.

  • i wanted a cow when i was her age. heck..... i still do xxxx

  • The makeup makes them look like hookers.

  • every time i hear beauty pegeant,i think of little miss sunshineXD

  • 'My dad and her mom were talking, so we're feeding her baby cows'

  • " I want a cow " Best bit of the whole thing.

  • half the kids on toddlers and tiaras look older than me with all the tan and make up on!

  • That's just too much.... little girls with make up... kids shouldn't wear make up..it's just not right.. when they are like 15 their skin will be like what??? .... their parents are stupid... I am glad we don't have such stuffs in my country...

  • why are all those mothers aunts and even that director all fat, ugly and stupid? it's like so wrong to make kids do all THEY (the mommys) are dreaming of but won't ever be able to do?

  • all beauty pageant moms look washed up. you know those dads who couldn't achieve their football dreams and so raised their son from the get-go to play football and looks more into it than the son? That's these moms. Geez, sorry you failed at life, but don't encourage your kids to aim for the same level of fail.

  • I wouldn't want any pervert lusting or day dreaming of my child as a older woman sick!! And have all her pics on Internet where they are loving it,come on they are children, the sport is cool but whats up with the older girl look? And some women dress there daughters over board..like hookers:-/

  • What happen to normal pageants where they are judge by natural beauty and talent..not where the kids look like older women!! My children have natural beauty don't need that pounds of make up at all!!

  • this girls are so screwed already !!! they will be on their 20th plastic surgery on age of 18!!!

  • All these poor kids are brainwashed into doing pageants....

  • Look at the fat fuck...she made her daughter a plastic doll just because she was getitng bullied because of her weight

  • 5:21 - 5:34 so not true! like me, i am just crazy about horses, i have been horseriding for 11 years now, when i was little i loved horses but there is no one, and i mean no one, in my family that liked horses. I was just born with this interest..

    stupid woman !

  • Well of course if mummy says "Hey, how about you do a pagent, would you like that?" of course she's gonna say yes, especially when she's so used to her mummy telling her what to do, she's gonna think her mother is telling her to do it, they don't look happy to me, they look like they're only doing this to keep their mothers happy. Like me, i'm only doing hairdressing to shut my fucking father up

  • If I had 1,000 dollars I probably would get a cow too.

  • @BatcaveDilemma

    why ??????????

  • @saeed4484

    Cows are my favorite animal!

  • this is 2 cute lol a summer cow :-)

  • @poppylv21 pedophiles watch this show, so they gotta cover em.

  • Karlee's mother should teach her that animals aren't toys.

  • wtf is up with tyra and gymnastics?!?!?

  • why is she covering her little girls "breasts" when she goes in for the spray tan? There's nothing there, she's only 5!

  • @poppylv21 i was thinking the same thing.

  • @poppylv21 maybe its the nipples. i mean those things are only quimicals, those things may lead to some reaction or something

  • Karlee is only 8 and she is already so into money...

  • Some of them really seem to like it, theyre like tiny middle aged business women lol but kids are people pleasers by nature and the ones who dont enjoy it seem to keep going because it means so much to the mother and the mother is so pleased with them

  • I feel like Tyra is trying to vilify the blonde mom... She's a lot more sane than many of the pageant moms that I have seen.

  • @viridianstar i agree she is not as bad as the mother who forced her daughter to get her eye brows waxed

  • I don't think there's anything wrong with pageants...it's the parents that take it overboard and forcing THEIR dream on their kids! That's the problem!!!

  • When the blonde girl answers at 0:19 is the mother mouthing the answer with her? It appears that this light-hearted answer might have well been prepared earlier.

  • LOL COW!!! HUH? YAPPA PIE!

  • Its not all THAT bad. At least she doesnt want her own tanning salon with that money. shows that shes still a kid at heart.

  • tyra annoys me sumtimes cuz she not lettin the ppl speak nd she be cuttin them off like LET THEM SPEAK

  • She wants a cow?

  • @YannaStengos But you got to have a childhood first, before all the pageants, right?

  • My kids are in pageants with these kids they go to school like normal kids and play outside all the time once a month we get glamed up and have fun with it

  • @myplan123 you shouldnt be a parent...you do know that these things always turns them into cruel little spoil brats as teens, if not now right?

  • dear parents,

it's not about whether your kids want to do pageants.

i didn't want to go to school when i was 5, but my parents made me anyway. because it was good for me.

beauty pageants, on the other hand, are NOT good for kids. they place an incredibly high value on appearance.

try teaching your kids to love the way they are instead?

  • I think they should be in school, not pageants.

  • jaimees eyes r a little scary :/

  • LOL I love this Karlee chick

  • WHATEVER!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

  • i hate how the moms say, "Isn't she so naturally pretty?" yes ok now let's get her some "real" hair

  • karlee is like money money money money wuts wrong with her?

why does karlee want a cow?????

    thts really crazy!!!!!

  • @dramaqueen9298 Nice spin, honey. They are judged on their looks. You could present yourself as the smartest little girl with the most acheivements--but you'll still lose to the girl with capped teeth, a spray tan, hair extensions and a crazy mother.

  • most little girls like ponies not cows. way to be original.

  • Comment removed

  • Tyra with her fake hair / teeth / lashes / breasts is SUCH a great role model...not. Talk about reinforcing the girls.

  • @rush7777me7777 Her breasts are actually real. She somewhat proved it on one of her shows. I don't remember what episode, but she took her bra off and flopped them around. They were quite floppy. Kind of like fat pancakes.

  • @rush7777me7777 not everyone with large breast have implants. as a girl it is easy to tell

  • @rush7777me7777 I don't think it matters how strongly you portray the morals you teach, as long as you teach them and strongly believe in them.

  • hahahahhahaha here money obsession is frreaaakky :P

  • She wants a cow? If I had $1000 I don't think I'd get a cow ;)

  • The mother did pageants! Where did she get in life? Is she living her dream through her mom. Her mother introduced this to her! They are beautiful without make up and fake hair! What are they teaching their children that they must wear makeup, fake hair to get money. Most girls don't become famous so what will they do when they grow up for money? You can't compare pageants to sports! The spokeswoman is making money of these girls:( We need to pray for these children!

  • The spokeswoman for beauty pageants seemed extremely inarticulate and possibly illiterate to me!

  • My eyes water when I'm wearing eyeliner. I prefer Karlee as a tomboy because I think tomboys are nice like Bonnie Wright. She was a tomboy when she was young.

  • @chef50 my mother is diabetic and survived an aggressive cancer she's like a hero to me she donates money every month to saint Jude. Bless those children at st jude

  • No wonder America is paedophile paradise.. The parents should be fucking shot. When these girls are found dead and raped at 6 yrs old like JonBenet Ramsey was, the parents will probably be screaming and crying "WHY US????" Kids this age should be in the garden eating bugs, and sticking crayons up their noses.

  • Eden Woods mom doesn't seem this normal. Sorry, many of these moms need to see a good view of St. Jude's children. TEACH your child count thier childhood memories, not how many crowns, money, pagent wins, what about real frendships? Playgrounds?MOMS,appreciate each day with child in good health How would you feel if instead of watching your child loose a pagent you watched your child battle each day for another day to live so they can be a normal happy kid? Ask a mom who cries at a grave vs pagents.

  • I know karlee I went to her house before like a long time ago

  • there's nothing wrong with glitz pageants as long as the girls enjoy it. for people who think it's not ok for your kids to do pageants cuz it teaches them about judging there appearance. no matter what whether there are pageants or not, there will always be judgements of the appearance. it has nothing to do with pageants. it gymnastics your judges at competitions of how well you do your full twist or back hand spring. in pageants your judges on your personality and presentation of stage.

  • one thing i dislike about the tyra show is how biased it is. it's like everything is in black and white.

  • I actually feel sorry for these very young girls. Makeup is a bad influence to every young girl and these two girls. Makeup ruins your face, it makes it dry and makes you non attractive and wrinkly in your future and older life. Also the money. Karlee raving about how she likes getting money? This just shows she isn't brought up well

  • "for me its the..... family time (money)"

  • tyras necklace reminds me of oreos :)

  • That Karlee girl is a genius at 7 and I think that girl gets what she wantss

  • HAHAHA A COW?!

  • haha a summer cow.. d'aaawe!!

  • The part of child beauty pagents that I don't like at all is the swimsuit section. To me that has absolutely no basis.

  • I WANT A COW!!

  • Wrapping something around a 5 year old girl's chest as if there were anything, THAT is sexualising. It pretends to hide a attribute of being grown up that hasn't even started developing yet.

  • I WANT A COW! LOL so innocent, why do they put these babies in make up, fake teeth, and hair extensions. There are too many pervs out there.

  • lol i noticed that everytime when she got nothing 2 argue about she'll just go we'll be right back..XD

  • MIss Tyra, I admired you for being such a beautiful, charismatic, powerful black woman but I think you're a bit harsh on these moms and children. Your mom supported you modeling instead of finishing college too. I am sure you're financially motivated too.

  • watch the "black swan" and you will know any competitive sport can cause children to have low self esteem. there are more losers than winner in every sport and competition not just pageant. it's just something to think about.

  • btw, going out in the sun is more harmful to a child's skin than wearing makeup. now a day , makeup at least has sun protection as well and nourishing vitamins. It may actually counter act premature aging.

  • if they are complaining about sexualizing pageant , might as well complain about ballet where kids wear makeup in skin tight clothes. gymnastic, figure skating is the same in skimpy outfit, swimming is nearly naked, not to mention kids early into sports get broken bones, hurt, or delayed growth (gymnastic). anything can be a risk. might as well do not take your toddler swimming if you are afraid of them being sexualized nearly naked condition.

  • Don't these mothers think their girls are beautiful w/ out the make-up?

  • I would love to flip these girls around and see if they have panels in their backs. They both speak with a monotone that is the last thing but childlike.

  • I like the whole pageant thing...I think it's fun. And maybe I think that way because I'm very girly and like the glitter and makeup and hair etc. But I think it's important to teach the girls that they are beautiful not only on the out side but inside as well. That's my thoughts on it tho.

  • Putting make up on little girls is just wrong

  • Putting make up on little girls is just wrong

  • what is pageants? trying to make underage girls fuckable? i dont get it

  • Well at least she doesn't want to go shopping, soooo props to her for that.

  • @ga1ysshulddie I'm not sure. Usually you can tell when a child doesn't want to do something and a mother is forcing hobbies into that childs life. But it doesn't seem that way here. Lexi seems to enjoy the pageants.

  • i wouldent be against child beauty pageants if they didnt dress them up to look so stupid, they dont need ALL of that makeup. just a bit for cosmetic purposes

  • for people that think this is wrong its not its olny wrong if the kid does not like it if the kid likes it then .... its not wrong

  • i hate that 'prissy walk' SO much. these pageants only teach girls that they need makeup, fake tans, hair extensions, fake eyelashes and the perfect teeth to not only be beautiful, but to be accepted too which will be incredibly detrimental to them in the future.

  • Karlee had way too much blush... akward to watch....

  • I as a little girl was I retested in makeup, like a normal girl. Now I sm a performer and noone else in my family performs. I think that the brunette, Carly, is really a tomboy and does this because her mom wants her to.

  • that dark-haired little girl gets on my nerves a little...and I suspect that it was her mother who is convincing her to take part in pageants because of the money. what a sad thing to teach your child... the blonde one is absolutely lovable though

  • when i was three i wanted to join a pageant and it got me upset thinking about it everyday and never got to join one! >.<

  • 'consistent' ? doesn't she mean 'persistent' ? haha!

  • Why would little girls care about make up and money and dresses and tanning - they should be caring about toys and playing games . They act 18 when they are little girls - I wish they would act their age .....

  • -facepalm- they walk like they have a stick up their asses -.-

  • Lol she wants a cow

  • OMG IT'S THE COW GIRL. SHE'S MY FAVE SOOO FUNNY

  • I actually don't think these mothers are as bad as the ones on the show because they don't force the little girls to do stuff they don't want to do....sometimes. Like how lexi didn't like the tanning so her mom never took her back there again.

  • @morgdan9 So the mother says. The cameras are running, that's one thing, but when they are off... who knows.

  • @morgdan9 why even tell ur little girl to get a fake tan to look better in the first place? i would say it was wrong if they where sixteen but to tell them this age? what ideal of a woman do u show ur kids when u say their looks are the most important thing and it makes mommy really happy when they are voted the most beautiful? they will learn how the outside is important to others soon enough. kids that age should be rewarded for painting a nice picture or sharing something with their friends

  • @brotmann86 why the fuck are you asking me? i'm not a mother of a kid in a pageant. i'm 16 years old. i never said that what the mothers were doing wasn't wrong. but honestly, any competivie sport is like this. there is dance or gymnastics. they score you as well. there's soccer or softball. it's not just pageants. are you gonna say that the mom's putting there kid in sports to make themselves really happy when they go on stage or make the winning goal? no. so stop attacking only pageant moms.

  • @morgdan9 when sport moms take it over the top its wrong too of course, but this is about fucking pageants not sports

  • @brotmann86 and what's wrong with pageants? why can't there be pageant moms that want there kids to be happy just like there are soccer moms that want there kids to be happy. I'm sick and tired of hearing people like you bashing every single mom who has their kids in a pageant. not EVERY mom is like that. did you ever stop to think that maybe the kid wanted to do the pageants and the mom didn't force them. maybe they saw it on tv. and even if the mom did introduce the pageants to their kids

  • @brotmann86 how is that any different from a mom introducing their kids to dance. there are moms like this in every sport but you seem to only attack pageant moms. i know kids that are in pageants that think of the competitions as a dress up game. their self-esteem is broken when they don't win. it probably helps them because now they know that winning isn't everything. i was in dance and we had to wear make up at all the competitions and i know that it's not all about outside beauty.

  • @morgdan9 as i said this video is about pageants not parents who make their kids play tennis 7 days a week. and there is dance and dance there is this video with little girls dancing to single ladies like strippers, dressed like strippers. i dont think this is ok. kids will come up to their parents by themselves when they see something they would like to do anyway, i dont think one has to introduce them. maybe ask "would you like to play soccer,or would you like to build a house for your dolls?

  • @brotmann86 if you feel they spend to much time on the computer or in front of the tv. but these parents clearly do follow their own dreams in first line here.

  • @brotmann86 but how do you know some of the kids didn't want to do it? how do you know that some of the kids did actually go up to their parents and say that pageants is something they want to do? you're going to still attack the mothers? what, are they supposed to tell their kids that they can't do what they want because it will make them look like a 20 year oldp prostitute and they'll come out as spoiled self-absored brats? what if the kid really wanted to do? you still attack the mothers?

  • it's only healthy not to give kids all they want & asking for. if you satisfy all their wishes, you forget to give your kids the importent values of life (like not judging others for their visual nature). when they're older and ask their mothers for drugs, what then????? give it to them, bacause they want it?

  • @staernefoifi where di you get the idea that i was saying for parents to let their kids do whatever they want? i never said that. but if a kid wants to play dance, or be in a pageant or something, it's a little wrong to deny them. you're taking it way out of proportion...

  • @morgdan9 you compare SPORTS, which is good for childrens health & social behavior with PEAGANT, which is definitely not good for them in any way (like drugs). only mentally disordered parents would allow such a thing... like only mentally disordered parents would give drugs to their children..

  • @morgdan9 just wait, when her little child begin losing pageants and will see if she dont take her to tan

  • @morgdan9

Because a child going TANNING IS FUN AND FUN AND TANNING IS FUN AND IT HURTS CAUSE IT'S FUN, isn't bad?

forcing your kid to wear fake teeth for beauty instead of actually getting a dentist to work on them via braces, retainers and such, isn't bad? I mean the easiest time to fix bad teeth is when the kid is still a child!

Making your girl wear makeup where she looks like she was slapped around, isn't bad?

  • @morgdan9

Or or, "When they put the crown on her she's positively glowing!! It's why we're here!!" And you know ignore the large lump sum of cash, the child is holding.

As that can't be why the parents do it.

    Really.

  • she wants a cow...

  • Karlee is scaring me with her money obsession. God help the poor child

  • i swear to GOD these girls are going to grow up sluts...
