I got this iPod in orange for Christmas 2009 and I am still loving it. I don't like how they designed the 6th generation, though (along with most of the people here xD). Sure, it has a touch screen, but they practically shrunk it all the way to the size of the iPod Shuffle. Plus, they should've kept the camera.

Could you please tell me if the click wheel buttons (play, pause, menu etc) are a little smoother & easier to press than on the Nano 4G ? I ask you that because I had some difficulties when using my 4G.

Is the speaker too soft and has bad quality, or it is possible to listen music comfortably if the ipod is near from the face ?

Is it possible to watch a video with subtitles on it or the screen is really too small to read on it ?

well I don't have problems "circling" my thumb around the clickwheel, very smooth to navigate on the menu as long as you circle your thumb right on the middle of the white wheel, not on the edges which will tend to "stutter" the navigation

speaker is very soft, good enough in a quiet room to listen to music but useless outside, recommend you just get decent headphones. (the stock earphones you get in the box aren't good quality)

Concerning the click wheel, I had not difficulties to circle my thumb on my 4G, the problem was pressing the 4 buttons (play, menu, back & next), I was able to press but with some difficulties, that's why I want to know if 5G buttons are a little bit easier to press.

You were overcharged, the $179 is what it should cost after tx is applied. In the UK we pay 17.5% in tax and this goes up to 20% in January next year. Maybe it will be best to avoid UK sellers and order from the USA as that works out at £90 at the moment which is a bargain. Shops in the UK sell it for far more as Apple fixes the price. If shops sell it for less they stop supplying them as they say a low price devalues the brand. It does look good, might buy one of those myself!
