no need to agree or disagree...it's a fact - Shaggy is the only living diamond selling reggae artist. he is creative - people just hate on him because he was the first to successfully fuse reggae and mainstream music. this song is sweet. i love original Toots too, but Shaggy puts a updated twist on the classic, ergo, Bonafide Girl (with the Shanty Town 007 Riddim) and his original twist on Oh, Carolina. ...so please don't hate on creativity, as I am sure GREEN is not your color

@mystik2k8 Lawd, I just saw this. Mystik, he IS a reggae artist, but he is a business man. If he stayed doing only straight Dancehall, he would never have amassed this much fame/fortune. Although Reggae/Dancehall is big internationally, no one in the genre can touch Shaggy's numbers.

I hate to defend Shaggy (as I do not like him personally), but I do like his music, and his business prowess.
