@BrodegaStudios or mayb she knows sign language just because she was simply curious like i am i dont have anybody that deaf or a mute but i still want 2 learn i think it pretty kewl that there is a whole another language out there that not many people know about i mean u never know u could weak up 1 day & not b able 2 hear so knowing it b4 that happens would help out
@BrodegaStudios Why learn Spanish if you only speak in English? Why learn French if you never intend to go to Paris? ASL (as well as BSL and every other form of sign language) is a foreign language just like Spanish and French are to one who speaks English. Besides, why wouldn't you want to be able to talk to deaf people? Deaf culture is beautiful. I took sign language class initially because it was interesting. Now I'm obsessed because it's beautiful and amazing.
A lot of those signs i use in sign language. I could understand a lot of the words you used in sign language. I wont say nothin bad bout your sign language cause we all do sign language differently. When i did sign language to my deaf cousin during the memorial service for my aunt, i found out he couldnt understand some words cause i do sign language different than what he was taught. You did a great job and keep up the good work

There was an excellent signer at SBC. A waste of talent at that church. She usually signed for one person. It would be better if the deaf went to a better church, such as Woodhaven Baptist Deaf Church. --- YouTube search: "SBC Houston Blessed Blessing" and "Second Baptist 5 Locations"
my twin passed away exactly a month ago today and i sang this song at her funeral i could barely finish the last half of the somg i was so choked up, but i kknew she was standing there next to me singing along and holding my hand. she was just about to turn 20 and get married and she had a 7 month old little boy. Watching this interpretation brought tears to my eyes... Almost a year ago my Uncle passed away in a car accident and they played this at his funeral... I know it's about a woman, but it doesn't change anything for me.
Last year when I was in Arkansas.,.. a little girl named Emily sang this song into my ear. Her mother passed away just months before. I so wished I knew this in sign so I could share this with her.

The woman was like a mother to me as well. My friend (the woman's daughter) did this song our senior year with her dad. She started crying on stage, and I was crying backstage. I miss that woman a lot. Just know that your step sister is watching over you.

Last year when I was in Arkansas.,.. a little girl named Emily sang this song into my ear. Her mother passed away just months before. I so wished I knew this in sign so I could share this with her.

My 17 year old son was born deaf; the rest of the family is hearing and I saw the Diane Sawyer name you person of the week and after watching the story I feel you earned it. It so wonderful to see someone so unselfish and because of a friendship with a deaf girl you have found your calling in life. This is the first video of yours I watched 2 yrs ago. I stubbled across it while searching for the music video for it. I have always had this fascination with ASL and have always wanted to learn it but have never had the chance. I can finger spell and know some signs but not enough to carry on a conversation. I love the facial expressions you show. THey definitely help convey the meaning of the song. Great job!

@summ3rqtpiex333 I'm sorry to hear about the death of your step sister. God's watching her, though. When I was in fifth grade a good friend of mine lost her mother. The woman was like a mother to me as well. My friend (the woman's daughter) did this song our senior year with her dad. She started crying on stage, and I was crying backstage. I miss that woman a lot. Just know that your step sister is watching over you.

Thanks for sighing this! im half deaf i can pick some of the lyrics up ! I used to wear Hearing aids and didnt wear them again , because iwas ashamed so im making the most of having alittle of hearing music but i do mostly lip read when im been spoken too .

I absolutely love your videos! Though I'm not deaf, I do appreciate what you do. I'm in the middle of learning sign, so it's really cool to be able to see it used in song. I come from a small town, but I help translate for the few deaf people that do live near-by. I'm 16 and entering our town pageant in July, because of you I chose to sign this song for my talent.
