  • this is absolutely brilliant!! thank u....

  • And here again! Now I sent it to a Hungarian DP tribute band as a "compulsory" hearing:) Their drummer is fantastic! I,ve discovered them only today.

  • Still - and forever - in love with it Luigi God!!!!:))))

I can,t be greatful enough for it. a Blackmore Knight:)

  • @GBWagner1 Ahah!! :)

no... it's me that Thank You for your support for all these years to me...

trust me... You're really my (second) dad!! :)

    a Blackmore Knight!! xD

  • I can help you with the trem tune problems, Luigi -- I have 30 strats and I too, have studied Blackmore's style for many years... first off, the nut is carved out a little wider for each string to allow smooth passage and less string friction; the trem claw on the back has 4 springs attached (3 top/1bottom) and back out the claw approx 1 3/4 inches and it will be like this on most early model strats. If you play a newer model, the spring cavity is longer and you will need to back it out more.

  • You've nailed the sound of Ritchie's strat on this recording -- good job. I can hear the identifiable constant switching between lead and rythym pickups as Ritchie does most often. The only thing lacking is the trem bar action and you could take his place in Purple -- lol. Is that a loop of "Knocking at your back door" in the background I am hearing?

  • @1958marky Hi Marky, honoured for your words!! :)

yes, it's a loop of Knocking that I made, then I played this long solo without stop, like a "live"!! :)

good ears for the switch, you're really a Blackmore expert!! 8)

you're totally right too for the trem bar action; sadly my bar make problems of tuning, uff, so I can't use it!! :(

(so I use too much the left hand vibrato but I must to repair the bar, one day!)

a place in Purple? ahah, eh... a dream!! :D

    thanks again marky, really!! :)

  • And again...:)

    The most pleasent "deadshot":)

  • If this is really you, you have copied Blackmore's style and technique perfectly. That was an awesome solo.

  • @montespython Ehy, thanks a lot, my friend!! :)

yes, this is me but I can tell You that I haven't copied Blackie style like a "bird", there's "my way" in too!! :D

... many thanks again, good year!! :)

  • @LuigiMontanaro2 Oh, definitely there is some Luigi in there ... LOL

  • Again recharged my batteris:))!

If I had to choose only one vid from the net, I guess, this one would be...:)

  • @GBWagner1 Ahah, oh George, I only can tell You "Thanks" but is not enough!!! ;)

    :)

  • 3 guys accidently mixed the proper icon. To them: the thumb UP means: it is good, not the down one!

(Certainly I respect their opinion, though don,t understand.)

  • Sounds like Paris 1985 RockPalast

If this is you and not Ritchie I salute you!!

  • @duckhunt55 Yes, it's me, ahah!! :)

thanks duckhut, I really appreciate your words!! ;)

  • YOU FUCKED UP ALL OF US!!))) YOU STOLE BLACKMORE`S TALANT)))

  • FUCK!!! I THOUGHT IT WAS RITCHIE!!!

  • @PALAZZIOOO Ahahah, no my friend, was me!! :D

I really thank you Palazzio, really!! :))

  • @LuigiMontanaro2 You fucking crazy!!! :)) Ritchie will be proud))

  • wow, you sound just like him! Amazing!exact same tone and phrasing!

  • @xuxis2008 Ahaha, don't exxagerate my friend!! xD

I really thank you xuxis!!! :)

but I don't play "like Him", I have my direction too!! ;)

(full of His influences for now, of course.... His GREAT Godness influence, ahah)

    byee!! :D

  • Comment removed

  • he`s god reincarnated.

  • @xuxis2008 His real son! Anyway I thought too at first that Blackmore is playing and was totally confused:) I was listening this 7* work 7 times in row and Luigi made my day one of the brightest one forever! He is "Blackmost"!

I,m very glad that You love it too and appreciate!

  • Number 1 guitarist of all time,no doubt a bout it!Technic, style, sound style so many light years away from others example hendrix, vai, malmsteen, just face the truth,he has a greatest gift from god and the other guy way down below to do that kind of amazing mystic career that continues on and on...

  • @jupetzku I agree totally with You, my friend, Ritchie was "gifted" for sure, the number 1!!!

and I thank you for your compliment to me, I played this guitar solo with so passion and freedom, I was really inspired too that day!! ;)

really honoured for your words!!! :D

  • Awesome sound my friend. You have "The Man In Black" running through your veins for sure.... Cheers !!

  • @purpledude603 Honoured for this, my friend, honoured!! :)

  • Oh my god... I've finished all my "thanksgiving", I can't know how thank you all again!!! *_*

... really, I can't... words can't enough my respect for You all, thanks!!!!!!

(especially fore George, he's loved this Tribute from the first time "he born", thanks my "virtual dad" :))) )

:DDD

... sul serio... thanks to you!!!

(e al nostro mitico Ritchie Blackmore!! ;) )

    deep-purple.it , facci un pensierino asd ... cià ciàooo !! :D

  • Luigi, it is not noly never enough, but FOREVER NEVER ENOUGH!!!!

A FOREVERGREEN work!!! I,m not an easy crier, but nearly came tears into my eyes coz of happines and JOY listening and wathching it about 100. times. My soul is recharged again to full. And listened again 3 times!:)))

    Thank to Mr. Montanaro!

  • You're great dude! Keep it up!

  • Ritchie Blackmore you have always been one of my favorite guitar players. Your unique style sends chills up my spine everytime I hear you play. i love to watch you play and continue to br the most incredible guitar player ever. From your biggest fan bless you and your family, Trish

  • @loveybells77 I can just to smile for your words, for me and Ritchie Blackmore!!

    THANKS REALLY from "both"!!! :))))

  • @loveybells77 Hi You! At 1. I thought too that Ritchie is playing. Hardly believed that not. But Luigi is this God:) He is more Blackmore than Blackmore! Very glad You like both of them too!

    Grandissimo!!

  • @97champion Ahaha!!! Loris, vero?!! :D

mi hai fatto crepare dalle risate, madò!! xD

    grazie ancora!!! ^-^

  • @LuigiMontanaro2 No, ma è venuto veramente bene, molto Blackmore! ;-)

  • This is my most time watched vid.

    And still fantastical JOY!!!!!

Thank You Mr. Montanaro that You thank Mr. Blackmore!

  • @GBWagner1 Eheh... always happy, for this, Thank to You!!!

... and to Mr. Ritchie Blackmore, of course... :)))

  • You're almost there, my friend. You need a bit more body to your sound and round off the top end a little. That's done this way:

    - dial in a bit more bass on your amp - if you've got any more, that is

    - move your mic a bit to off-centre if you're miking a cab

    - or try another 4x12 cab if you're using a modeler

And try to keep a bit more cool, try not to play too fast. Blackmore + too much speed = Yngwie... and he's a total banana so you definitely don't want to be him. :-)

  • @Pluis1970 Ohh!! thanks for tips Pluis!! :D

heh... That day I played this recording just for testing a new sound for a Virtual Instrument, Amplitube 2, this is not a true ampli! xD

    then, I liked and I wanted to make a tribute to Ritchie, but I played in "my stile", I did not to want to copy Blackmore;

of course I have a lot of his influences and my speed playing was for to exercise my technique a bit, totally agree on Malmsteen virus, bleah.. :D

thanks again!! hope you liked my tribute! ;)

  • Two words: GUITAR GOD!

  • @guitarwizard6 Thanks my friend!!

but I think that you speak about Ritchie, not of my playing in this video, ahah!!

    ... for a moment I trusted.... ahah... :))))

  • @LuigiMontanaro2 Yes I do, but to be honest, I thought it WAS him for a bit! You've really nailed his style and tone. Great work!

  • @guitarwizard6 Ahaha, thanks my friend!!! :D

this is a great thing, very honoured!!!

    thanks again!!! ;)

  • How on Earth did this receive three 'down' thumbs? Unbelievable!

If you did really play the guitar on this video LuigiMontanaro2, then I think I will subscribe!

  • @AussieBluesTHC20 Sure was me that playing!! ;)

    thanks for your comment, AussieBlues...

... don't worry for these "down thumbs", de gustibus!! ^-^

  • Ahaah!! Thanks Dady, again one more time, and Dave too, the best in NZ!! :)

now are 3 thumbs... heh... "de gustibus", of course.... ;)

  • What can I write? 10000000********

I,ve discovered it at Dave and it made my evening! The best vid on the whole net!

Who can be that 2 thumb downer?:))) Really sorry for them.

  • ¡¡YOU ROCK BRO ¡¡AWESOME ¡¡
