  • This is a honor i wish to be able to do some day.

  • wachedthis and it was sad

  • This has to be with out a doubt the most touching movie I have had the Honor of seeing ...

To all my bothers Past Present and Future, you are rememberd. SEMPER FI

  • From what i've seen Americans live in a bubble and could care less who is dying out side of that bubble, they'll let young men and women die and use political talking points to alleviate any responsibility.

  • @kingboss9000

#1: Bullshit, not all Americans do. That's a false stereotype.

#2: Name 1 country that you think this couldn't be said about. I don't remember the last time a country gave as much of a damn as people criticize Americans for supposedly not giving.

Fact (look it up if you don't believe me): America donates more money in relief than any other nation in the world.

  • @Shadowhawk555 Im american I'm just saying what I see on a day to day basis, It's either "we gotta get those muslims cuz they hate our freedom" or " Idk I'm not into politics"

  • we watched the end today, i wanted to cry

  • jedan od najboljih filmova

  • We all had to watch this in history class for veternsday and everyone started crying

  • @superchick163 it should be required of schools to show there students this

  • @MrRucknroll also the hbo documentary (wartorn) should be required to show to highschool students so maybe there will be more respect for the men and women who serve this fine country

  • I have never seen a movie deal with this subject with such respect, honor, and reverence as this movie has. It will make you weep and, at the same time, fill your heart with honor and gladness that men such as Chance lived.

"It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather, we should thank God that such men lived" - Gen. George S. Patton

  • Is it weird for me to almost weep everytime i see this film, to pray for every soldier and wanting serve in hopes that I can prove myself as an american as well as a muslim?

  • Could someone tell meh the name of the soundtrack?

  • When you watch this movie, the HBO commercial with all the differant movies on it. There's a song that plays while the movies are going. It sounds like something from E.S. Pothemis? Please, what's the name of the song before hte movie Taking Chance starts????!!!! I really need the name of the song! It kinda sounds like Nara by E.S. Pothemis, but it's not! What's the name of the song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Huhhh, I love this film without watchin' it. What an awesome actress... I will see it on sitemoovis.co.cc tough. "If you don't sand for something, you'll fall for anything" :)

  • I can't believe I never heard of this movie until last week while visiting my family in Jersey. I was boo-hoo-hooing the first five minutes. A simple movie with strong emotion. God bless our armed forces.

  • T_T this made me cry

  • green goblin became army. LMAO!!!!!!

  • Even though I am not a US citizen, I felt so moved by this film and the feeling that left inside my heart was sadness, respect, honor, and I understood that this country honors the heroes who stand for their Nation. Perfect film. Kevin bacon is a blast !!!

  • If only this had happened for the young boys who died in the thick, wet jungles of Vietnam.

  • This was a great movie. I myself am currently deployed doing "HR detail" which is showing in the opening of the movie. We are the ones the escort the casket off of the aircraft and again back on it when the time comes.

  • i love that movie .. a great one .. it should win an oscar

  • I think all the warmongering politicians should do one escort duty, then they mite not be so quick to send young men to there deaths. But alas they don't deserve the rite or honer of this privilege.

  • best movie..worth to watch it in webmovietube

  • Wow this looks WOW. Just i dont understand whats this movies about. I guess I will have to see it on filmsi.co.cc first. I can't wait for it that's going to be EPIC! I love when they show trailers in a new inventive way - makes me more excited to see the film :)

  • I spent a good bit of this movie fighting back tears. It was probably the most moving film I've ever seen... and I've seen a lot of movies.

  • How can you gave this great movie a thumbs down, how cruel and disrespectful to do that. these brave warriors gave their lives for our freedom just for us to continue living in peace. I was born in P.I. but I'm always greatful for what the U.S. gave me, the opportunity to live prosperous and peaceful. I salute every one who wear the uniforms for they're willing to sacrifice for their Country.May God always bless you and the souls who gave up their lives for this great Country..THE U.S.A.

  • There are many strange people out there in internetland. How could you give this film thumbs down? This Memorial Day, let's all pause and remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for America.

  • @eyeballchick00 as much as i respect the human beings who lose their lives and respect their families.

They're actually not really saving millions of lives... their struggle is a very personal one that effects them, their family and maybe the lives of the people in the country they head to, possibly making everything worse.

The life of somebody who joins the military and then loses their life in duty is profound and should be respected. You however have childish notions of it.

  • this almost made me cry. this takes some courage how can anybody dislike this

  • @MrJumaidy then you deserve that coma.

  • @MrJumaidy then you deserve the coma.

  • We got this dvd before it was released to the public. "we" being the Partiot Guard Riders I have never opened it. The story alone made me weep, this could be my son. I walked with Chance Phelps mother....I stood the flag line for him and her in Rock Springs in her Walk for Chance. I have NEVER met anyone with such strength or grace. I hope if anything happens to my son while he serves that I can be 1/2 the woman she is. Gretchen....I am grateful to you.

  • @1wyotech I really appreciate the work you guys do for the troops.

  • @1wyotech I just stumbled across this movie. Very emotional film to say the least. God bless you for escorting our troops home. God bless PFC Phelps' family, as well as all who have loved currently serving or who have had their final home coming.

  • this is the saddest and most amazing movie ever! im in 7th grade and we watched it in reading for memorial day, and EVEYONE in class cried, even the "jock" ish kids. its such an amazinf move and its very moving

  • this is one of the few things that will make a marine cry

  • i JUST joined the Marines and to see that 52 people would dislike this is extremely hurtful. you must not be American or something. and if you ARE American then GET OUT!

  • @FlowerFlipIt people are assholes...ignore them....MANY stand behind you and the haters are more than welcome to stand in front of you as you head into battle.

  • it's all fake...

  • Jeez the free movie website advertisers are really going at it....

  • I am only 17 years old and have found myself tearing up every time I watch this film. I do hope to be in the military one day and I have talked to chances cousin multiple times. I cant stress how much this movie has effect me and many others, this is definition of patroitism and I do hope that one day the people who disrespect this movie will grow some maturity.

  • This movie is based off my social studies teacher's cousin, we watched it today in school.

  • chance was my brother-in-law in a way. he never married my sister but they were together for many years so i always considered him that. i still havent been able to see this movie, short on money to rent it or buy it, but i thank you ALL you serve today and in the past. i miss ya chance, ill see you again one day. and to those 51 people who disliked this, SCREW OFF! i guarentee 50 of you are some of the ones who had to do with chances death!

  • One of the BEST movies ever made, serving escort duty is the most honorable thing a man or woman can do to bring a fallen hero home to they're family. I am so glad to see that some much attention to detail goes in to taking care of these men and women to return them home. Only a week ago I seen a young man and his wife on they're way to his duty station, I am glad to have shake his hand and to say Thank You for Your Service to him. It meant a lot to him.

  • This movie makes me cry...

  • Whenever you see anyone in the military you MAKE SURE you tell them "Thank you so much for serving, I really appreciate it!"

  • Oh this movie was such a tear jerker. I have a big military family and me and my dad and grandpa watched it together and just cried. I had no idea that that song was on the trailer, though! I love that song.

  • @karatekid12365 "comes and goes" in waves

  • God Bless the troops. I can't want to be Marine. It will truly be an honor.

  • Very touching movie. I'm not an American myself but I can see myself being in that position.

  • I am a man and future military and i honestly can say i cried during this movie

  • @tofael091 STOP FUCKING SPAMMING I'VE BEEN ON THIS SIT AND IT GIVES YOU SHI T LOADS OF VIRUSES!!!!!!!

  • @lovelynarenji What was so funny about it asshole?

  • wow....

  • i gotta watch this movie <3

  • I am Turkish, but even when i watched the trailer, i cried. What a national feelings in American's heart.

  • Fuck this spam. I want to see this film, not only for Kevin Bacon being serious, but because this is the kind of subject matter that needs serious treatment.

  • @oliviedub i dont see how this movie could be funny.... is not a comedy, shit bag.

  • Great film but still its only a film.... Unless both current and former veterans are supported and their medical and emotional needs are met no one can run around as though this film makes up for everything.

  • how could people dislike this movie? I really dont get how some people dislike this?

  • i havent seen this movie but just seeing the trailer made me want to cry

  • This makes me cry :'(

  • @rplute Not the place for that.

  • This should've been nominated for an Oscar.

  • @jewamen It was an HBO original, it was not eligible

  • @mindylinky

Well still it is still an incredible film. I find it pitiful that the Academy didn't look at this film

  • i have not even watch the movie and i feel like crying already.

  • Nothing can be better than dying for your country...

  • Gr8 Movie.. Hats off...

  • Gr8 Movie

  • I think we need some more patriotic movies..

  • the first movie about the military that i would be able to enjoy that doesn't mock any branch of military.

  • Respect.

  • How many siblings, children and parents we'll still have to sacrifice until this war industry stop?

Enough murdering other's siblings, children and parents. Enough murdering ours.

    Enough!

  • The 46 ppl who gave this a thumbs down should walk a day in the life of a Marine and their family. For all those who have served this country past, present, and furture, THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERICE. For the family members of those fallen, your loved one's sacrifice was not in vain. He or she saved the lives of millions with their own. May God bless you.

  • If anyone is watching the trailer to see if the movie is worth watching.....it is! But be warned put your thinking cap on because you will be confused the whole way through and the only people who don't like this movie are the ones who didn't understand it. Go to the moovi.co.cc it's worth.

  • @MrJepprox

I thought this was one of the best movies. It showed a side of war that we never see, and the respect and compassion that was given each and every soldier for his journey home. I think everyone should see this movie.

  • im an 0471 prp its an honor to help families who lost loved ones in combat pfc guzman usmc goin to dover airforce base and seeing fallen comrads is hard but each and every service member whon passes threw is handeled with the best care

  • Well, be that as it may, the American people were convinced by the cover-up story, so they supported the war with the thoughts that they were taking initiative on someone who threatened the safety of America and its citizens. If the American people didn't support going to war, then there wouldn't have been a war. And sure, the government is a terribly fucked machine, but the military should not be to blame for their actions. Respect the soldiers and what they were fighting for, false or not.

  • Chance Phelps reminds me of my late buddy Marine Corps Lance Corporal Cody Wanken.

  • @aamorri1 May he rest in piece, Semper Fidelis.

  • outstanding moviee!!! One of the first movie that made me cry!!!!

  • 46 people don't get HBO

  • @stess051486 52 people don't get America, nor the subsequent freedom prevailing due to it and the sacrifices of its Servicemembers. God Bless.

  • @SomasTube First of all, I DO NOT HATE AMERICA. What I do hate, is the fact that these soldiers were not killed on American soil. They were fighting a war, thousands of miles away. A war that held no threat to America. So why were they there in the first place? Surely it's a shame that their lives have been lost, and they died for nothing. They didn't die making the world a safer place. The world will never be safe. War is nothing but suicide. So no American should own this movie. STOP THE WAR!

  • @FlourNest America declared war on Iraq after Saddam Hussein said that he had bio-nuclear weapons and would use them on Americans. Whether he actually did have those weapons or not, any country would be foolish to wait for that threat to be followed through before taking action. Perhaps this should be something you need to understand. However, what's been happening for the last few years, after the war has been over in my opinion, is something I do not agree with.

  • @MrRobottic

That's a Cover up story to the REAL reason why we invaded Iraq. It was about the Dollar vs. the Euro on oil purchases throughout the world. In 2000, Saddam refused to accept the dollar and he went to the Euro. After the Shock and Awe, one of the first things American troops in Baghdad did, was set up a Central Bank.

  • @MrRobottic

Hussein also switched his U.N. reserves from the Dollar to the Euro.

  • @FlourNest

The last thing the American people want is to fight a war on American soil. In my opinion we went to war in Iraq, to send a message to Iran and the rest of the world. In 2000, Saddam had switched to the Euro for his oil. One of the first things that we did after making it to Baghdad was set up a central bank! We ripped up all of Saddam's Euro oil contracts and changed it back to the dollar. That's why countries such as France, Russia, and China were ticked off.

  • @aamorri1

Iran switched from the dollar to the Euro for oil contracts. The Dollar is backed by oil contracts throughout the world. The more control that the Euro has in Oil, the value of the dollar will go down. Every product in America will be more expensive.

  • @aamorri1 The sad thing is, soldiers go to war, not knowing the true reasons. Governments will lie through their teeth for personal gain, not caring who dies out there. My mother didn't give birth to me so that one day she receives a folded flag and a "Your son died a hero" letter. Governments around the world, can go screw themselves. As a Greek I grew up hating Turks. Then one day I met a Turkish girl with a heart of gold. Never hated anyone after that. I hate terrorists though. lol

  • @FlourNest

Iran is Next! They have switched their oil contracts to the Euro. It's The Euro vs. The Dollar.

  • @aamorri1 In that case I thank my lucky stars I am Greek. Nobody will ever bomb me for olive oil. hahahaha

  • @FlourNest

If Greece was sitting on a lot of Oil, the Greeks could be a world Super Power.

  • I think every American should see this movie.. Ive made all my loved ones watch it. Every time I see it, Im moved to tears. RIP Lcpl Phelps, Semper Fi.

  • Any film with Kevin Bacon is good. Especially this one.

  • Any film with Kevin Bacon is good.

  • It's sad when you see PFC's who just ship die on the first few months of their deployment.

  • Hi I'm a European that works in the Middle East. I just looked at this movie and it broke me up .Without people like this brave Marine and his comrades from prevoius generations I would not have the freedom that I enjoy now & I have no doubt that I'd be speaking German if it wasn't for them. I want to say thank you.America has always answered the call and I think that we as Europeans have never have shown our gratidude properly. God Bless all of you and keep you safe. Thank You.

  • This is not only common to American soldiers, but all soldiers around this mother earth!

  • The combination of sound and out of this world graphics and effects makes this is a film I shall be recommending to all my friends. Find it now at kookicá. With a keen sense of humour and disbelief securely suspended, this film is one that can be enjoyed by all.

  • Politicians might have erred in starting a war. But the men fighting and dying in any war are from ordinary families. This is an excellent movie.

    Regards,

    S.Suresh,

    Trichy.

  • What a delight in our time to see such a marvel. A perfect story, touching and exploring every profound topic worthy of pondering and dealing with: True Love,-Life and Death,- Good and Evil,-Time and Eternity. See it on kookíca! Wow!!!

  • This is a great movie package; with good action, great acting, funny scenes, unpredictable parts and totally awesome ending. Wet Sunday afternoons will not be as depressing with these in your collection...believe me... Find it and see it without paying nothing...go to kookíca.

  • Semper Fidelis...

  • What's the song at 0:57-1:29?

  • greating and respect to all american troops! i´m from europe and you guys does aour job!

  • The movie that you can enyoj on kookíca, sounds like it was spun out of an advice column, is very high-concept, except that it has a gently authentic tone... for every movie lover

  • @MrPunmin special effects the fuck you talking about

  • I actually was intrigued by the trailer i simply had to see this movie.. I did that for free on kookíca.. and I wasnt disapointed

  • I am an anarchist but i do believe in the economy and the military we have this movie makes me proud im an american

  • Not too many movies have moved me quite like this one. I saw it on kookíca last night and I'm still under the impresion of it. Incredible story. Incredible performance. definitely the best movie this year for me

  • Marines die for honor and their country its great to know that another marine will bring you home cant wait to join when im older semper fi marines

  • This movie is by far the best movie I have ever seen. I was scout/sniper in the Marines, watched many of my Marines fall.... This movie actually brought a tear to my eye... this movie embodies all those who sacrificed. RIP Devil, Semper Fidelis!

  • Comment removed

  • This movie brought a tear to my eye, and i don;t ever get emotional over a movie. BEST MOVIE EVER!

  • SomasTube: Everyone should own it.

  • I don't even know where to start, this movie was so well made from so many different angles. Usually, going to the kòòkica is such a passive process—you sit back and are mildly entertained—but this movie is so NOT like that, it is really great!!!

  • Every American should own this movie!

  • @SomasTube ...correction...everyone in the free world should own this movie...respect

  • @SomasTube I'm glad to say that I do own this movie. We should never forget PFC Chance Phelps and the many like him.

  • Find me better officer...

  • We all started flipping out over the concept of this movie, and generally wondered whether or not the human mind can handle multiple lifetimes worth of experience without suffering from abject insanity. It is available at kòòkica by the way so come and catch it.

  • omg this movie was so sad

  • This is the best movie it changed my life forever. If you see some one in uniform and you love your country look them in the eyes and say "Thank you".

  • We watched this video in government, and I was deeply moved and touched. (I am tearing up just seeing the trailer). This movie will forever be close to my heart. Thank you Chance, I hope my aunt has already met you. I will meet you one day too, and I will thank you so much for serving our country and for protecting your comrades so. Honor always.

  • We had to watch this in our high school ROTC class and everybody cried their eyes out.

  • I finally saw this movie, and I just want to say thank you Chance. I feel bad because that is all I can do is say thank you. I'm going to enlist in the Army when i'm 17 and I can't wait to be a hero like Chance and my Dad. Does not matter if Chance was USMC and my Dad and I are Army because we all take care of each other. Also thank you to all who have served and mostly to those who gave everything.

  • i teared up just watching this trailer.. cant imagine if i watch this movie. R.I.P to all who lost their lives in battle and their families.
