Anybody else find Simmonds fighting style reminiscent of Brashear? They both have incredible balance when throwing hands out there, and Simmonds, like Brashear, mixes it up with his combos, completely annihilating dudes. I loved Brash when he played for the Flyers, and I'm hoping this kid will be the enforcer that he was (a talented player/enforcer, unlike Shelley)

Walkers not coming back. Gustafsson will be sent back down and Andreas Lilya will be starting. Id be surprised if Shelley plays in more then 20-25 games this season. Especially when Schenn and Read come back.

great fight by simmonds, he landed a few real good shots including some upper cuts and one that gashed open dorsetts lip, he also stopped throwing punches when he had dorsett down, yet dorsett tried throwing a couple extra which both missed after they got up, the only reason he fought dorsett was cus dorsett tried fighting JVR who has 1 fight in his career, simmonds stepped in and pounded him, great job by simmonds here, also had a goal in the game

Derek Dorsett seems like such an asshole and a classless guy. Theres a code of honor for thugs and he dpoesnt follow it. He tried to start something with a non fighter van reimsdyk earlier, then simmonds made a point of not pounding dorsett when he had him down bit dorsett got up and threw a hard one that misssed with the officials in between. I don't know if its just me but I'm starting to think Dorsett is a classless douche.
