My strategy from Baby Small Bowser when you have to use the shockwaves on the ground, after Bowser slams, jump on his head, jump up and land with a ground pound, it works every time for me!
It's not really possible to play the DS on the wii because of the absence of the touch screen. It would be REALLY clunky to have to point with the wii-mote to play high-precision games in what would be a smaller lower box. Plus a lot of games involve you playing with the DS at different angles. You can't do that on TV.
It really is awesome! As I said, it's one of the most epic boss fights in video game history! I think when I was a kid, my jaw dropped first playing it, lol!
He is! What makes him so hard is the challenge of figuring out the right angle to hit with eggs. After all, this is the only part of the game that you shoot eggs into the background, so it takes getting used to! Dodging fireballs while avoiding pits doesn't help either, lol! Also, in the final phase, if he has like 1-2 health left, he'll rush you for a 1-hit kill and demolish whatever ground is left under you! So you have to keep backing him up QUICKLY by hitting him with eggs!
Hmmm... it's hard to say... on a first run, it sure ranks up there with the hardest because of the whole aiming thing I explained, plus the bottomless pits, lol! I'd say it is the hardest Bowser variation I ever faced because It's difficult to beat it EVERY time because of pressure and aiming, unlike other battles where if you know his pattern you most likely won't take a hit/die. The next hardest is probably the first Paper Mario's Bowser as he had that 30 HP healing move! VERY frustrating!

He musn't have healed very much. One time for me, he healed 2 times in 3 turns! I was like: o_O "cries" lol!
How many times have you beat him? If only once ever, try it again for fun. Some times things go your way, but most of the time it doesn't... or at least for me, lol!
Well, I thought there was various stages, but wasn't sure myeslf... But I'm almost positive he healed 5 times one time when I fought him as a kid... Then again, "as a kid" is the point of that statement, so I'm not THAT positive, lol!
Anyway, do you remember how many times he healed during your battle? It seems if he heals like 3 times, it starts to really tax your endurance. You know, like your items, HP, FP etc. Making it hard to overtake him.
Hmmm, strange... Yeah, it's time consuming and not hard like you said (in fact it is quite predictable) UNTIL you run out of resources, lol! The healing is the worst though! I mean 99 HP is high, but with a average of 2 healing spells a fight, that makes it like 159HP! Give or take depending on luck. Plus he can dish out the pain himself with 10 damage with his fire breath. (9 if you guard) No his "invincibility" power up doesn't count because you can nullify it for free with Peach Beam.

@MasterLeafVideos Uhh, no, that can't happen. after you deliver the last hit to Bowser, the game takes over for you and makes the jumps every time.

That's a pretty good strategy. It stops him from doing a shockwave to get in your way and allows you to have all the tiem you need. :)

i didnt find that 2nd bowser fight you talked about hard for me it was time consumming but not hard

if i remember right he had 2 stages and he healed twice for each stage and i only beat him once i havent felt like playing it again
