I agree, therapy can do a lot for patients who are willing to be proactive and do some work on thier own too. It's an extra challenge that most people don't see in your life, and you think you can just take meds then go back to ignoring it...but that approach usually only works for a little while. people build up tolerance to meds and more. even on strong meds like benzos, bipolar will "get away from you" if you don't take responsibility.
