This is where you might be confused. If marijuana were legal, it could be sold in stores, like tobacco or alcohol (and taxed) and the dealer would not be able to compete with the price. Everything this celebrity goof-off says is wrong. Weed is NOT the same as alcohol. Driving under the influence of one is not the same as the other. It's like comparing a slingshot to a gun. The two are in an entirely different class. Anyone who lumps the two together either hasnt tried one of them, has the mental capacity of a q-tip or has a vested interest in keeping weed illegal. Absolutely every defense they have for keeping it illegal can be easily rebuked.

Not a gateway drug. There is no such thing. Anything you do... ANYTHING can lead to doing something else. "marijuana leads to doing worse things. Thats just a fact, i dont care what anybody says, what the debate is..." After I ate my first hamburger I decided to try a hotdog, does that make hamburgers a gateway food? Hemp grows at a 35% faster rate than trees therefore you could produce more paper & quicker than when using lumber! And cannabis is not a mindless drug! You know nothing about me. It definitely better than its been in a long time: its legal in 14 states for medicinal use, and this year California has it slated to be voted for full legalization on their November ballot. If anyone can pull it off, CA can, and they'll go on to show the rest of the country how much legalized pot can actually HELP.

This is where you might be confused. If marijuana were legal, it could be sold in stores, like tobacco or alcohol (and taxed) and the dealer would not be able to compete with the price. Yay, free market economies. Mr. Baldwin, please consider changing your views and seeing marijuana in a new light, without the shadow of prohibition clouding your eyes :)

I have a friend who even after everything that I told him about Cannabis still has a hard time getting his head around the fact that it is not something bad for you. I have used cannabis a few times and all I can say is I have felt that kife is worth more than just living. Whisky; that I have used sometimes excesively does a lot more damage and has made me rather depressed. One day this whole charade will be over!
