Strangely, I'm the exception to this rule (and I guess a few other people are too) - I actually perform better when I've got an audience. Maybe it's the show-off in me!

Somehow the knowledge that people are watching, makes me focus more, and makes me play more flamboyant and purposeful shots.

@Fitness4London Same here too, well maybe it is because when my coach watches me over all the other players on my Junior team. It makes me feel important to the team.
