  • Xoie has the deltaV for a moon orbit to lunar surface landing, but the systems are not space rated. Masten Space Systems is developing VTVL rockets for sub-orbital science payloads. The funding is all private.

  • Wow that is very stable.

  • Outstanding effort by Dave and his team !!

  • Gee, how much did this cost the taxpayers?

  • Actually the cos associated with the NGLLC to NASA and the taxpayers is nothing. Teams have to fund themselves as does the X-Prize Foundation. Taxpayers only are on the hook if someone wins one of the competition levels. And the max prize to be distributed is $2 million. Considering what you get for the $2 mil it's well worth it.

  • Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) is a leading global security company whose 120,000 employees provide innovative systems, products, and solutions in aerospace, electronics, information systems, shipbuilding and technical services to government and commercial customers worldwide.
