noobs, they went back in time, even if there had been indentations, they would have been gone by the time YOU got to the park, The Government is good at covering things up Ah ha!
@boondocks43 Yeah, I'm not saying it's something new, it's just an observation about this particular track. I'm well aware that this is being done all the time by composers - from within and without their own backcatalogues, too.
@WROrchestra We are discussing Bakshi's 1987 version, if you look at the comment it's a reply to mine. If you listen to this and then the main cue from Rosenman's score, you will probably pick up on it too.
@Owdene What's a real shame is that the second half of Bakshi's interpretation of LOTR was never made, so the first half ends on an unresolved cliffhanger.
@SPeacock I know, a real shame. I like the talent and unique look of Bakshi's work, and another score from Rosenman would have been more than welcome, as the first one is brilliant.
@SPeacock im actually planning rent some horses and make some costumes to shoot Part two,
but for now, i shall edit the original version so it can have the ''part one'' subtitle and fix the Aruman/Saruman issue, and delete some silly unecessary things like the Witch king trying to gain control of the horse.
Probably the best of all star trek movies. Humpback whales, time travel, friendship, humour, everything to make a good movie. Even the main theme is great.

This sounds like a watered down version of Rosenman's main theme from Lord of the Rings (Bakshi, 1978).
Owdene 1 year ago
@Owdene James Horner, and Hans ZImmer also uses the same hooks and themes from other various movies of the past. This is nothing new.

@Owdene It is. Some of the cues for Star Trek 4: The Voyage Home were "influenced" by the score for LOTR.
SPeacock 1 year ago
@SPeacock I can't see it myself?
Star Trek IV - scored and released in 1986
LotR - scored and released from 2001
or do you mean the original 1978 cartoon version?

This happens to be my favorite movie of all time, and its soundtrack is worthy of such praise as well.

@vincentalvado Certainly one of my favourites, for those reasons! Even if they make time travel look a bit TOO easy!

This sounds like what the Nintendo video game intro screen would have sounded like had they made a Star Trek IV game.

I was hoping for the original recording, but this is better than nothing.
You did a pretty good job with it.

So WROrchestra when you visited SanFranCisco did you find any sign that the real crew from the real Enterprise from the future was there?
ShippoTheFoxKid1983 3 years ago
No, no crushed dustbins (Trash Cans), indentations in the grass or old broken glasses in antique shops!
WROrchestra 3 years ago 2
well, the classes would be hard to came by, the indent in the grass would be gone, and the trashcan would be replaced by 2009
