My point being: Jeremy Clarkson did test a DIFFERENT road car years ago that came with a similar "warning letter" stating how powerful the car is on the road. That car was the BMW E46 M3 CSL. Just saying this is not the first road car Clarkson test drove that came with a "warning letter."

@25tab BMW's are more of a "driver's car" than the MB's. Both makes come from Germany so it's difficult to target low grade components on either makes. The only reason I did not buy a MB is that their motors don't last under hard, aggressive racing performance. MB's are luxury cars, not "drivers' cars"

@ivanlai0225 Yes, with only 507 hp and merely 465 lb-ft of torque, this thing sure is a just a nice crusing vehicle...  Don't forget 0-60 in a blistering 4.1 seconds and an unlimited top speed of just over 200mph (the Corvette Z06 being 196mph). Yes sir, you sure got it right, I'm so glad you pointed out how much slower and tamer this car is than those other "uncontrollable monsters" on the road.
