I've been reading the comments about the new SSE music, and I see the different opinions. In my opinion, I love the Jeremy Irons version of Spaceship Earth, but I love this new version as well. Honestly, I'm somewhat partial to it because I did the Disney College Internship at EPCOT at Spaceship Earth last year and it was really great. There are so many things about that attraction that I didn't know. I really love what Siemens Ingenuity has done with Spaceship Earth . I miss it already lol!
@Ohmydayumboii They're both great rides. I think it all depends on when you went to Disney. My kids love the "new" version while I prefer the old one. When I played the "old" version for them on Youtube, they seemed confused lol.
Change isn't bad, Its when you take away a masterpiece and replace them with nothing but screens. I happen to love this music and love all Spaceship earth music versions equally, tomorrows child version, Epcot 94 and this one aint bad after all that crap that has entered the park.
Are they going to get rid of the Leave of Legacy tombstones at the entrance? It makes the area look so cluttered, tacky and it looks like a graveyard.
The new spaceship earth is great. The old one was saying how "someday we can talk to people in Japan by phone and have a computer that fits on an entire desk!." the old one was so outdated, it was hilarious. I like the new one. Its put into historical context and doesn't make outrageous predictions that will become outdated in a year.
I do agree otherwise it would have ended up like carosel of progress that has gaps and hasnt really kept up with time even tho it is virtually as it was for the Worlds fair back in 62
@robnum1 What the hell are you talking about? The old script never had anything saying we would have a computer that would fit a whole desk. And they tore out everything from the last scene to make way for a bunch of lights and a small, plastic Earth. The old narration was inspirational and could never become outdated. What's hilarious is how ignorant you are and how you actually think the new version is "great'.
Definitely 5/5 the score was by Bruce Broughton if anyone's wondering...I like how he incorporates the entrance music in a few spots overall a great song
Not bad, but it does have some serious competition from its former scores. Remeber the score that accompanied Jerimy Iron's narration? And who can forget Tomorrow's Child?
Thanks for the wonderful *support*

@ThatAmazingGirl34 Yep although the ending might be weaker then the old version but technically speaking it's amazing what they've done with it.

Like a grand and maraculous spaceship, our planet has sailed for the universe of time... and for a moment, this ride needs a new voice-over.

The Disneyworld soundtrack Four Parks, One World is worth buying if not just for the Broughton compositions, this and the Ellen Degenrous one.

I can just hear Judi Dench's voice set to this.

I can smell the cigarette smoke just listening to her voice. I have the new voice and the ending sucks.

It sounds like the epcot entrance music. I wouldnt be suprised if they use it. I was so disapointed with spaceship earth.
