For people saying that little girls only voted for Lee because he is "cute". No, That was Tim Urban, he was the one getting all the Little Girl Votes. Performance Wise, Crystal was better. But Lee had alot of charisma, connection, he was very versatile and his music appealed to more people. Crystal is very talented, but she is just so 1960's and always seemed to sing the same thing over and over again.
Based on performance Crystal should have won, make sense to me. But better doesn't mean a thing when it comes to the teenie weenie females, they gave Lee the win. What do teenie weenie females like, mediocrity.

Crystal has the best voice of any of this season's contestants, so she should be go on to be successful if she makes smart choices and continues to work hard and surrounds herself with knowledgeable people. I wish her all the best.

lee one. that's the fact. i voted for him, but that' s only because i know that crystal isn't missing out on anything by not winning. even though i like lee, i think crystal will be way more successful. she's way more marketable and has a very distinct voice that people wanna listen to. regardless, i'm very happy for lee and i hope to see more of him in the fututre.

does it really matter who one? both of them will become big, so its not like it matters and people have their own opinions on who wants to win, so get over it if you don't like who won. personally i love both of them. i may like one better than the other but its not like it really matters. its my opinion. Lee won. life goes on. it happens every season. someone likes one more than the other and they get mad because they didnt win, but its not like they won't become famous.

Purely from the perspective of A+R, Crystal blew Lee out of the water and should have won hands down. Lee may have won the battle (American Idol) but I get the impression Crystal will win the war in the long run.

I still miss Paula.. she had a genuine and true kindness for the contestants.! I'm warming up to Kara, the 1st season she was on.. I didn't care for her at all.. she's still not my favorite, but like I said I'm warming up to her! As for Ryan & the question is it getting easier for him.. I can definatey say that this year I saw alot of sadness in Ryan.. & it really seemed to affect him each time someone had to leave .. for some reason way more than in the past.? It's ok Ryan everyone loves you<3

what's good or not is an opinion! & personally i think Lee is incredible & Crystal is just ok. & it wasn't just "LITTLE GIRLS who got their mommies to vote" u jerk. Ppl actually like Lee, ppl who are mature & capable of forming opinions based on voice & can work a phone by themselves, thank u very much. Just because YOU don't like him doesn't mean he isn't good. & it doesn't mean his fans are crazy or voted on looks. If ppl voted on looks then Tim or Casey probably would have won.

@purplemkb I'm 44 and I voted for Lee all season..from top 24 until the end. He made me like songs that I either didn't like before, or had never heard before, or heard but didn't have much interest in, like The Boxer. When Lee got done, I was ready to buy it.
