hey were was the test flight occuring, one day i saw 3 stealth fighters in the air over south florida, i couldnt tell whether they were F-22s of F-35s from the ground but they were pretty ncie, know anything about that?
Its made from the same company and I wonder why... Its a proven shape for stealth. The way the wings are pointing the same way with the horizontal stabilizers and so on. its just a F-22 without thrust vectoring and a single engine (less stealthy too but still your not going to find it in BVR).

The F-22 isn't necessarily better than the F-35. The F-22 is designed specifically as an air superiority fighter, while the F-35 has more versatility as a strike fighter. The F-35 can be an air superiority fighter too, but that isn't it's main purpose. The F-22 has thrust vectoring and supercruise, allowing it to reach supersonic speeds without hitting the afterburners. Only the F-35B has thrust vectoring. A and C models don't. Both F-22 and F-35 are two great planes, nonetheless.
The F-22 is better because it has thrust vectoring, supercruise and something else but my mind is blank right now so I can't remember LOL but anyway the F-35 can still take out any Russian peace of shit that even dares to come up and fight the F-35. So the F-35 will be good just not as good as the F-22 but better than anything else. Man I love the USAF.
The F-35 is not a pure air superiority fighter, and I think you'll find that the Su-27 derivatives are a far better platform for that purpose, though the F-22 will do the job better than the current Su aircraft. Not sure about that. Missle lock works on heat. So it might be good if u have a radar. But u still need to get close enough for a missle lock. And when the F-22 can fire, that means the EF can fire too. But in CC the EF is a bit better.
I do admit that the F-22 is very good stealth plane. Better then the F-35 and can be compared to a B2. That sure is a good advantage.

What good is an F-15 if it can't be flown to its maximum capabilities? What bothers me is that the Pentagon wants only 183 Raptors to replace the F-15. The Air force insists on at least 400 Raptors. They are both 9G fighters (the aircraft can take a lot more but not the pilot). With the thrust vectoring its totaly different on how it does its G's. You can turn tighter with 9G's with the F-22 than the F-35. your kinda getting pushed in a different way with Thrust Vectoring so you can turn tighter I've seen the F-22 do a right 180degree turn with the turning ratius of 100ft the F-35 can't do that.
The F-35a is a great fighter but the F-22 is better. When you take the F-22 and the F-35 in a CQB dogfight the F-22 will win because of the thrust vectoring.

You saw the F-22's from Tyndall AFB. I don't think there is even 3 F-35A's or even 2. I'm not to sure but their testing out west (F-35).

De F-22 can't get to Mach3. Only the Valkery and the Blackbird can do that. And with afterburner the F-15 might be able to so too.
But the top for the F-22 is M 1.9/M 2

The f-35 is too slow with a top speed of only about 1000mph. Also it is less agile than the larger F-22. Viper drivers swear the F-16 is a better dogfighter. That may explain why the Thunderbirds will keep the F-16.

i think the F-22 is sexier and the sensor well never mind i can't tell u about some stuff that the f-22 has and the f-22 can see a 360deg on radar thats better than the f-35 and the STOVL is only on the marines version and u lose over 8,000 pounds of fuel

They are both 9G fighters (the aircraft can take a lot more but not the pilot). With the thrust vectoring its totaly different on how it does its G's. You can turn tighter with 9G's with the F-22 than the F-35. your kinda getting pushed in a different way with Thrust Vectoring so you can turn tighter I've seen the F-22 do a right 180degree turn with the turning ratius of 100ft the F-35 can't do that.

The F-35a is a great fighter but the F-22 is better. When you take the F-22 and the F-35 in a CQB dogfight the F-22 will win because of the thrust vectoring.
