@10me20 OMG, I haven't watered my garden since the end of August (it is now Nov-25) and I still have squash producing on my plants... they are an incredible plant!
First time zucchini gardener here (Seattle area) and MAN... do these grow FAST! I love the stuff. Mine are getting to be 7-inches in length and I just cut one loose to go with dinner tonight. Others soon to follow! Peppers and tomatoes are about a month away yet. Thanks for the video, wanted to make sure I cut it right.
Your squash plants are very nice and healthy. i love squash - all diff shapes, sizes, colors. i planted 16 this season (due to very poor productivity in the last few years) and 10 of 16 are prolific; the other 6 are just hanging in there. We love to harvest and eat them at 6" size - stir-fried, breaded, zuke fries, baked, in frittatas, etc. Thanks for the good videos. Enjoying them a lot!
@ShoreGardener Thank you so much. It is a great pleasure to help new gardeners with practical, non-commercial information, that will help them to be successful and have a lot of fun gardening as well. i wish YouTube was around when I first started gardening I would have had better soil, less weeds and more bountiful harvests. Keep up the good work. I have posted a few more video recently that you may enjoy...
@FLIPWILSON1 Thanks FLIP, I don't think it was powdery mildew, that some squash are susceptible to, I planted two different seed batches and as you can see are completely different.
so awesome, your plants looked so healthy your harvest was nice, that's so nice that you share your veggies, take care happy holidays

on your video, approximately 1:36, you have a plant with white residue on the leaves. What is that? Also, thanks for posting... great job.
