  • if wanna save on the wear on lip or cutting edge, you can take a dozer track pad split them butt the grazer up against the lip in between the shanks and weld it on top and underneath... it will wear a long time... but if its a rebuild i'm sure they wouldnt like that, if you gonna paint and sell lol... oh like the 6in rolled striped, they wear a long time like that..

  • better off putting arrow head segments between the adaptors easy to replace than re building the edge

  • what type of welding rod do you usually use to weld those AR 400 plates on?

  • @KFCHambone Looks like it was fluxcore or dual shield 045

  • @rangaman86 dual shield is fluxcore...

  • @boardgodfly Yes and no. Dual shield is flux cored wire with shielding gas. Theirs also straight flux core without shielding gas. I run .045 Lincoln Ultracore with C25 at work.

  • @KFCHambone No rods were harmed in the making of this bucket...

  • Um..er...audio here is a bit lacking....

  • impressive work!!!! must be nice doing this type of work for a living.....

  • im going through the same deal right now on a 330 bucket. one comment though. hard facing the cutting edge causes the edge to loose its temper and will cause it to crack under stress. it is always best to either replace the edge or weld on wear plates rather than hard face. great fab though!

  • you dont have channel comments , but i just wanted to say good videos brother!!!

  • nice job man, a lot of work eh?

  • Nice job!
