Do you guys think luffy will get a new gear or already have one? I dont want to spoil the next chapter but what Zoro did was much more impressive than luffy, I think it's kinda like how it was in skypiea where zoro is temporarily stronger than luffy. If so luffy will probably need another gear to match him probably sanji too now that he can fly.

@UchaNekome This is the type of reaction I was expecting, luffy and zoro always have to be equal post alabasta until enies lobby zoro was stronger than luffy but no one gives him credit for that, it wont be until luffy gains a hypothetical gear that people will see zoros stronger right now. Luffys conquer haki so far only affects fodder irrelevant at the moment.

For some reason, it feels like Zoro will leave the group one day. He seems like he doesn't really care about being in a group, but still is a little loyal to Luffy. Especially after the two year timeskip, where now he's a lot more confident.

Hey I watched one piece in the english dub from episode 1 to 205 and I can get the subbed videos from funimation because I am in England I was wondering if I started to watch in japanese from episode 205 would be kind of cheating or should i start from the start because I found a website with all the episodes and I like the japanese voices better
it'll be sick if they show Aokiji vs Akainu in the anime version as an extra episode after jimbei's talk with the crew, or Oda might keep that part for another time

The one thing that seemed to bug me about how this story arc ended was the relationship between Shirley and Arlong. They are brother and sister, but it was only mentioned and nothing ever came from it. There wasn't one scene in the entire arc (that I noticed) that really did anything with it. I doubt we have seen the last of Fishman Island, but still...

I was actually really impressed with the scene of breaking the crystal ball and deciding it was better not to know the future. After all, what is the point of knowing the future if the visions you see will happen no matter what you do and you only pick up on bad stuff.

Prediction - Luffy will come back and destroy Fishman Island for whatever reason, but what's positive about it is that the people of Fishman Island will have to start living at the surface, and get along with humans.
I believe Luffy will eventually, intentionally destroy Fishman Island. I think after his fight with Big Mam he will realize that Fishmen and humans can only coexist when they are together, so he destroys the island, nullifying Big Mam's supremacy and making them all have to live with humans on land.
I do think that her prediction will still come to pass. it could be Luffy goes to confront Big Mom and finds out that she has left to Fishman Island already, and by the time they get there Big Mom has destroyed the island and Shirley see's Luffy rise from the fire like she saw in her vision and he will defeat her.

@anandereiraj4 going back isn't easy. I believe Nami is still making her map of the world so she should be able to navigate back, there are also special log poses that only point towards one island (they used one in alabasta arc) but they would most likely not have one. I also was thinking something along the lines of Luffy being in control of his own fate and destiny has no control over him (might be a will of D thing).

Absolutely beautiful chapter! Good cliffhanger with the destroying of FI, could Arlong make a comeback in the future? Shirahoshi stopped crying and aged in just a chapter. Rubber comedy gold with Luffy, Zoro vs Sanji is back and more skull jokes. And the touch with Luffy and Jinbe was genius, no words were required. Next week is gonna be amazing, and I'm looking forward to it so damn much =D
The bit with luffy and Jinbei isnt that just a implied thing that will meet again and Jimbei will join at that time,there wasnt a need for words, thats what i think anyway.

@LeWadeJr Thats the beauty of One Piece, you don't see him train until much later. Thing is, Luffy is already strong at the beginning of the series and he always seems to find a way to defeat his opponents because of his strong will. This to me seperates OP from Naruto, DBZ and Bleach, because OP does not waste time in training.

Luffy's power are so much more verstile, he can do much more things than just creating 1000 clones or using hollow hax.... Surely he was already strong but he could just much more with his power... That's some way Luffy decided to wrap himself around Nami's body. If it was anyone else I would call them a pervert, but I guess if he didn't do it that way Nami would try to hide the compass. Think about it. There are 9 Straw hats, 11 Supernovas, but if you take out Zoro and Luffy from the Supernovas, there are 9 left. Thts 9 vs 9. The two strongest crews, Straw hats, and the Kidd pirates fight, then its Luffy vs Kidd and zoro vs Killer (both considered first mates) Chopper vs Law unless luffa also fights him, and etc

@shizzaun14 but if you recall the last time they "fought", tashigi reminded zoro of that one chick who's name i forgot when he was a kid. i don't think he could bring him self to harm her, and if she were to insist on fighting him there would be a chance of her winning due to that, or maybe, in a later chapter they fall in love (i know its hard to picture that but it's just a theory).

Have you seen Luffy's new move hawk eye or hawk punch meaning anything he punch explodes, he used it to finish up Hody which made Hody throw up all the drugs he took and lost consciousness. i think that power is epic.

@OKWU4U you might be right. And that could be the secret to his new strength. Before the timeskip he could wrap his arms around people but u could tell he threw sum force behind it. When he pinky swore it just looks like luffy simply extended the pinky around hers. Oda already said luffys body is like a rubber band....u think it's a hint of new powers to come?

The one thing that seemed to bug me about how this story arc ended was the relationship between Shirley and Arlong. They are brother and sister, but it was only mentioned and nothing ever came from it. There wasn't one scene in the entire arc (that I noticed) that really did anything with it. I doubt we have seen the last of Fishman Island, but still...

I notice something I think Luffy now has total control of his devil fruit, I mean he stretched his head like a snake he stretched his pinky finger around the princess finger his now able to use his body as a flexible snake without applying much force in them. Maybe he can now wrap around people n choke them n do crazy moves like the rubber guy in Fantastic 4.

@asceventura That's not what I meant. Did I even mention the Rio Poneglyph? Robin is my favorite character, and sometimes I get sick of her lack of fights and even screentime. It is natural for her to laugh, but I want to see her get a fight and be useful in the plot. Fans often overlook her, because she's not as flashy as the others. That's all.

Zoeo defeated captains with ease at enies lobby. Now after 2 years of training with mihawk, zoro's goin to the new world and tashigi just became a captain...and u expect her to put up a fight? oh please.

I believe Luffy will eventually, intentionally destroy Fishman Island. I think after his fight with Big Mam he will realize that Fishmen and humans can only coexist when they are together, so he destroys the island, nullifying Big Mam's supremacy and making them all have to live with humans on land.

I do think that her prediction will still come to pass. it could be Luffy goes to confront Big Mom and finds out that she has left to Fishman Island already, and by the time they get there Big Mom has destroyed the island and Shirley see's Luffy rise from the fire like she saw in her vision and he will defeat her.

I believe Nami is still making her map of the world so she should be able to navigate back, there are also special log poses that only point towards one island (they used one in alabasta arc) but they would most likely not have one. I also was thinking something along the lines of Luffy being in control of his own fate and destiny has no control over him (might be a will of D thing).

Absolutely beautiful chapter! Good cliffhanger with the destroying of FI, could Arlong make a comeback in the future? Shirahoshi stopped crying and aged in just a chapter. Rubber comedy gold with Luffy, Zoro vs Sanji is back and more skull jokes. And the touch with Luffy and Jinbe was genius, no words were required. Next week is gonna be amazing, and I'm looking forward to it so damn much =D

@LeWadeJr Thats the beauty of One Piece, you don't see him train until much later. Thing is, Luffy is already strong at the beginning of the series and he always seems to find a way to defeat his opponents because of his strong will. This to me seperates OP from Naruto, DBZ and Bleach, because OP does not waste time in training.

Luffy's power are so much more verstile, he can do much more things than just creating 1000 clones or using hollow hax.... Surely he was already strong but he could just much more with his power...
